Value Racing Tips Final Review

At the end of our trial of Value Racing tips we are pleased to report that it has been a successful trial, achieving 64 points profit at advised prices and 46 points at Betfair SP.

The return on investment for the trial was a very impressive 26% and the strike rate a solid 23%.

The profit growth was pretty steady during the trial, as you can see from the graph below:

Value Racing Tips Profit Graph

Value Racing Tips Profit Graph

As you can see, a slight false start at the beginning but from then on it was very positive growth with a real jump towards the end.

The nice thing about this service is that all tips are simply 1 point win bets, so no crazy staking systems that you see with some other tipsters.

It’s easy to follow too with 2-3 tips per day and selections normally sent out the evening before racing, so plenty of time to get the bets on.

Looking at the longer-term results, the service has shown a high level of consistency, making over 350 points profit since its inception in November 2013. That means you would have made over £3,500 if backing to just £10 stakes or £35,000 if backing at £100 stakes.

There has only really been one period of drawdown during the lifetime of the service, which was in the Spring of this year. Otherwise it is just been steady profit growth all the way.

Our only slight concern is the bank size suggested by the service. We recently had issues with two other Betting Gods services – Big Race Bookie Busters and Serve It Up Tennis Tips – losing or virtually losing entire banks whilst we have been following them.

Well here you are advised to use a 50 point bank, but if you had joined on 9th March this year you would have lost that entire bank and more, as they dropped 57 points between then and 8th May.

So we would recommend at least a 100 point bank – or even 150 points if you wanted to be on the really safe side.

Other than that, we think this is an excellent service and as long as you use a sufficient bank this has great potential to make consistent long-term profits.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: Fairly good – with 2-3 bets per day there is a little bit of work to do but as bets are normally sent out the evening before racing, there is plenty of time to get the bets on.

Availability of prices: OK – it is usually possible to obtain the advised prices or close to them if you take prices soon after tips are sent out. But even if you just use Betfair SP, the results are still very good, with 46 points profit made during the trial, representing a 28% reduction on the advised prices.

Strike rate: Not bad at 23% – there will be some losing runs and drawdowns with that kind of strike rate, so a little bit of patience will be required.

Advised Betting Bank: They suggest a 50 point bank but given that the service has suffered a 57 point drawdown in the past, that clearly is not enough and with a 23% strike rate it was never going to be. We recommend at least a 100 point bank or even 150 to be on the safe side.

Subscription costs: You can get a 30 day trial for £1 to start the service, then it is £49.95/month, £119.95 per quarter or £279.95 for life.

Although on the face of it the costs seem quite high, to be fair we have seen services charge more than that without having such good track records, so we think the subscription costs are fair.

OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED

It’s been a very good trial here for Value Racing Tips and we are very happy to give this a recommended rating.Horse Racing

Very solid, consistent results over a long period and a simple service to follow – we can’t really ask for more than that.

This service has proven it can do exactly what it says on the tin – find good value bets day in, day out. Sixty-four points profit to 1 point level stakes in 3 months is no mean feat.

Its long-term results show an incredible level of consistency too, with only really one drawdown period since November 2013 and the rest just solid profit growth.

The fact that it also makes good profit at Betfair SP is reassuring, so it is not just about exploiting bookies’ early prices.

As long as you use at least a 100 point bank, we see this one as a solid part of our portfolio and should provide excellent long-term profits.

If you are thinking about dipping you toe in the water before committing to the service then the nice thing is they offer a 30-day trial for just £1.

Results Update

4th October 2015

It’s been an encouraging time for Value Racing Tips, who have added another 26 points profit at advised prices and 23 points profit at Betfair SP.

That brings the totals for the trial to date to:

Total profit/loss (advised prices): +65.68 points

Total profit/loss (Betfair SP): +45.76 points

You can view full results here.

With an advised bank of 50 points, that means we have more than doubled the bank at advised prices and nearly doubled it at Betfair SP.

There is a great deal to like about Value Racing Tips, with all tips being 1 point level stakes, plenty of time to get the bets on and a very strong record established over the last two years.

We have just 10 days left in the trial but it looks like this one is heading for the winning systems pile, with bells on!

Check back here for our final review in a couple of weeks’ time.

Results Update

14th September 2015

A fairly quiet time for Value Racing Tips, with 1 point lost at advised prices since out last update on 2nd September.

However, at Betfair SP there has been a loss of 9 points since our last update, so a little bit of a gap is opening up between the advised prices and Betfair SP results.

We are now two months into the trial and here are the totals so far:

Total profit/loss (advised prices): +40.18 points

Total profit/loss (Betfair SP): +22.71 points

You can view full results here.

So still going along nicely and well in profit at both advised prices and Betfair SP, but we will keep an eye on the difference between the two as the trial progresses.

Back soon with more updates.

Value Racing Tips – Results Update

2nd September 2015

The positive run continues for Value Racing Tips, who have added another 16 points profit at advised prices and 13.75 points at Betfair SP since our last update just over a week ago.

So the running totals since the start of the trial are as follows:

Total profit/loss (advised prices): +41.63 points

Total profit/loss (Betfair SP): +32.2 points

You can view full results here.

We are just over half way through the trial now and have nearly doubled the bank, which is very good going. If they can keep up that form for the remainder of the trial we will be looking at something special here.

Will be back with more updates soon.

In the meantime you can check out Value Racing Tips here.

Value Racing Tips – Results Update

23rd August 2015

Things have picked up nicely for Value Racing Tips since our last results update a couple of weeks ago.

They are now 26 points up at advised prices and 18 points up at Betfair SP.

You can view full results here.

There have been some nice winners lately in the shape of Outlaw Kate at 14/1 (20.0 BSP) and Pleasach at York at 7/1.

We are about half way through the review now so will be interesting to see if they can continue this upturn in form and get close to the results achieved by stable companions Master Racing Tipster and Big Race Bookie Busters.

Will be back soon with further updates.

Value Racing Tips – Results Update

11th August 2015

It is just about a month into our trial of Value Racing Tips, and much as with our previous report, it has been slow going so far.

They are currently 1.33 points up at advised prices and -8.52 points down at Betfair SP.

You can view full results here.

So not much to write home about yet, but no disasters either. Just a steady eddy so far.

Let’s hope things pick up from here and they start banging in lots of winners for us.

Value Racing Tips – Results Update

28th July 2015

We are two weeks into our trial of Value Racing Tips and it has been a slow but steady start so far.

They are 3 points up at advised prices and 3 points down at Betfair SP.

You can view full results here.

They got off to a good start, hitting six winners in the first nine bets and going 25 points up in rapid fashion.

However, a run of losers from the 16th to 22nd July put a bit of a dent in the positive start they had enjoyed. So now we are more or less back where we started.

You will notice a bit of a difference in the advised prices and Betfair SP results so far, which we will keep an eye on to make sure it does not become too much of an issue.

We have high hopes for this one as it has amassed over 300 points profit to 1 point level stakes in just over 18 months prior to our trial, which is pretty impressive going.

Anyway, we will continue to update results throughout the trial and let’s hope for a few winners this week at Goodwood – and beyond.

Value Racing Tips – New Review

13th July 2015

Today we are commencing a trial of Value Racing Tips, a horse racing tipster from the Betting Gods stable.

The service has been running since November 2013 and since that time has amassed just under 300 points profit. So that’s £3,000 profit if you’re using £10 per point or £15,000 if you were using £50 per point.

The strike rate is a pretty healthy 22% and the return on investment is also good at 20%.

We have had great success recently with two other Betting Gods tipsters, in the form of Master Racing Tipster and Big Race Bookie Busters, who both smashed our previous records for a 3 month trial and now sit atop our tipster table.

Whether Value Racing Tips can live up to those heady levels remains to be seen, but just good solid profit is all we are looking for really.

Looking at the past results it seems the bet volume is a little higher than the other two services, being around 3 bets per day, but staking looks to be a fixed 1 point level stakes so fairly straightforward from that point of view.

Here’s hoping for a hat-trick of winning services from the Betting Gods stable as we kick off a mid Summer review of Value Racing Tips.

We will update results periodically during the trial, but in the meantime you can check out Value Racing Tips here.
