Day Two is set to be scorcher at the Berkshire course with temperatures predicted to hit 28 degrees today. The racing action should be hot too with the Prince of Wales Stakes taking centre stage. Love, who won the 1,000 Guineas and Oaks last year is the even-money favourite in the 16.20 race.

There is also the Queen Mary Stakes for two-year-old fillies and the Duke of Cambridge Stakes featuring Lady Bowthorpe who finished second to yesterday’s winner Palace Pier in the Lockinge Stakes. 

Sadly the Queen will not be in attendance at the Royal meeting for the first time in many years, but the spectacle of Ascot will be as good as ever with fans in attendance once again.
