Tennis Profits – Final Review

Tennis Profits is a tennis trading membership site created by pro trader Paul Shires together with Matt Bisogno from Geegeez and the Goal Profits team.

It is designed to help members make consistent profits from live tennis markets on Betfair. The service offers in-depth education, live trading insights, and advanced statistical tools to give traders a professional edge when trading ATP and WTA matches.

When we first reviewed Tennis Profits, we were impressed by the depth of content and the professionalism behind it.

It was clearly built by experienced traders who understood both the technical and psychological sides of tennis trading.

Since then, the platform has continued to evolve — adding new features, refining its strategies, and enhancing the live stats and predictions available to members.

Let’s take a closer look at the main components of the service today.

Getting Started

The “Get Started” section provides a strong foundation for beginners and intermediate traders alike.

It’s essentially the onboarding area, guiding members through all the essentials of tennis trading before they get involved with live markets.

Here’s what’s included:

  • Mindset – One of the most overlooked aspects of trading, this module focuses on developing the right attitude, patience, and emotional control needed to succeed. Paul emphasises realistic expectations and long-term discipline over chasing quick profits.
  • Bank Management – Detailed advice on how to size stakes properly, manage risk, and preserve your bankroll through inevitable losing runs. This is practical, actionable, and essential reading for anyone serious about trading.
  • Trading Rules – Clear rules are laid out to help traders avoid impulsive decisions. These include when to enter or exit trades, when to sit out, and how to react to price movements.
  • Trading Basics – A great introduction to how the Betfair tennis markets work, including the difference between backing and laying, how odds move during matches, and how liquidity behaves across tours and tournaments.
  • FAQs – An ever-growing list of common questions answered clearly, making it easy for new members to find their footing without confusion.

Together, these sections provide a structured, confidence-building start for anyone new to tennis trading.

Tennis Trading Strategies

Tennis Profits comes with a collection of tried-and-tested trading strategies, each explained in detail with examples, setups, and video walkthroughs.

These are designed to work in different match scenarios — whether you prefer pre-match trading, in-play opportunities, or reacting to live momentum shifts.

The main strategies include:

1. Back the Server

A simple but powerful in-play strategy, this involves backing the server at key moments where their odds are expected to shorten if they hold serve. The guide explains when to enter, ideal scorelines, and how to exit safely.

2. Lay Set 1 Winner

Based on the statistical tendency for players who win the first set to lose focus or face a stronger response from their opponent in the second set. This is especially useful in women’s matches, where momentum swings are more frequent.

3. Swing Trader

A medium-term strategy designed to capture price swings over several games or sets. Perfect for those who like to trade around momentum shifts rather than point-by-point markets.

4. Lay the Leader

This strategy targets overreactions in the market when a player goes ahead — often when the odds shorten too aggressively. By laying the leader, traders can take advantage of natural corrections when matches swing back.

Each strategy is backed up with real data, live examples, and advice on when to sit out — a key part of successful trading.

Stats Section

This is where Tennis Profits really shines. The stats hub provides an immense amount of data and match intelligence that’s hard to find elsewhere — all presented in a trader-friendly format.

Live Matches

For all ATP and WTA live matches, members can view:

  • Comprehensive head-to-head records
  • Recent form and match history
  • Surface-specific stats
  • Ranking trends
  • Live in-play data such as break-point conversion, hold percentage, and serve stats

This data allows you to make informed trading decisions in real time, without having to bounce between different websites or databases.

Player Stats

The coverage is enormous, spanning the top 900 men and women players. Each player page includes their historical performance by surface, year, and opponent type — making it ideal for spotting trading angles or mismatches.

Match Predictions

Another valuable feature of Tennis Profits is the daily match predictions, complete with detailed breakdowns, confidence ratings, and suggested trading approaches.

Chat Room

The live chat room is one of the standout features of Tennis Profits. Here, members can follow live trades executed by professional trader Paul Shires in real time.

Paul explains his reasoning behind each trade — why he’s entering, where he’ll exit, and what he’s watching for — so you can learn as you watch. It’s effectively live coaching in action, and many members find this one feature alone worth the subscription fee.

The chat room also encourages community engagement, with members sharing their own observations, discussing matches, and supporting one another. It creates a collaborative learning environment rather than a one-way service.

Tennis Profits – New Review

23rd June 2022

Today we are starting a new trial of a tennis trading service called Tennis Profits.

Those of you familiar with the ever-popular football trading service Goal Profits will not be surprised to learn that they are branching out and bringing their considerable trading expertise to another sport.

The service is a collaboration between Paul Shires – who has run the Trade Shark Tennis service for over ten years now – Matt Bisogno of the excellent GeeGeez racing website – and Steve Brown of the aforementioned Goal Profits.

Paul is the main man doing the trading and he has been a full-time pro tennis trader for a number of years now.

In terms of what the service is all about, it follows a similar structure to Goal Profits. There are:

  • Trading Guides – getting started etc
  • A stats database of over 900 male and female players
  • A live stats tool for trading matches in-play
  • A set of strategies for trading tennis matches
  • A live chat room where you can follow along with Paul and his trades
  • Full support from the team

So it’s pretty comprehensive and the aim is to provide a full set of tools for those who want to trade tennis successfully – much in the same way as Goal Profits does for football.

To kick off the new service, Paul is even giving away a FREE guide which you can pick up. It’s a perfect time to get started with Wimbledon getting underway next week.

Meanwhile we’ll be taking a look at the nuts and bolts of the service and getting to grips with what it’s all about. We’ll report back here soon on what we’ve found.

In the meantime you can check out Tennis Profits for yourself here.
