Sand Bets Full Review
It has been a good trial for Sand Bets here at Honest Betting Reviews, a horse racing tipster that specialises in all weather racing.
With 39 points profit made at advised prices over the 3 months at a return of investment of 10.5%, this is a service we are happy to recommend.
For once the Betfair SP actually beat the advised prices, which is very rare, notching up 45 points of profit over the trial. That is good to see and means the service is certainly a practical one to follow.
Here are the results for the trial in graph format:
As you can see, things got off to a flying start with a high of 80 points reached before a bit of downtrend to finish a healthy 39 points in profit.
Service Breakdown
Ease of use: There are 4 bets per day on average so there is a bit of work to be done when following this tipster, but it shouldn’t take more than 10-15 minutes per day. You can of course just back the selections all at Betfair SP and be done in just a couple of minutes. Tips are sent out in the morning so there is plenty of time to get the bets on.
Availability of prices: The prices were generally freely available and we could see no problems there. As we say, the Betfair prices actually beat the advised prices which is always a good sign of price availability.
Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 19%, so a little bit of patience will be needed when following this service.
Advised Betting Bank: A bank of 100 points is advised, which was adequate for our trial but we note there was a drawdown of 74 points between December 2014 and February 2015, so you may want to use a slightly larger bank to be on the safe side.
Subscription costs: The subscription costs are £105 per quarter. The service would perhaps benefit from having a monthly or yearly subscription options as well.
OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED
We have said before that we think the key to making a profit in betting is specialisation and it seems to have paid off for Sand Bets with their focus on all weather racing only.
A profit of 45 points at Betfair SP is impressive and represented a 45% growth of the bank over the trial.
That builds on over 250 points profit made coming into our trial over a period of under two years.
Based on past results there could be some volatility in following this service, but as long as you are prepared for this and have a decent sized bank and some patience, then you should benefit in the long run.
Overall it’s a nice simple service to follow and we are happy to give Sand Bets a recommended rating as one to have as part of your portfolio.

Sand Bets – Results Update
5th January 2016
Things have continued in a positive fashion for Sand Bets, who have added a further 35 points profit at advised prices and 32 points profit at Betfair SP.
They now stand at +46 points at advised prices and +52 points at Betfair SP after two months of the trial.

Good to see a service where the Betfair SP is beating the advised prices, you don’t see that very often.
The bet volume has really increased over the last month – probably owing to the increase in the amount of all-weather racing on offer. Just as well there has been lots of all-weather racing given the weather we have had here in the UK!
Anyway, let’s see if Sand Bets can continue the good form over the last month of the trial.

Sand Bets – Results Update
26th November 2015
It has been a good start to our trial of Sand Bets, who are 11 points up at advised prices and 20 points up at Betfair SP.

Nice to see a service that is doing better at Betfair SP than advised prices, very rarely see that. Will be interesting to see if that holds for the remainder of the trial.
This is quite a high volume service, with approximately 4 bets per day. Tips are generally sent out early in the morning though, so there is plenty of time to get the bets on.
So a nice start to the trial for Sand Bets, let’s hope things continue in the same vein.
Back soon with more results updates.

Sand Bets – New Review
7th November 2015
We recently started our first trial of an all-weather specialist horse racing service in the form of All Weather Profits and today we are following up with our second, with a trial of a service called Sand Bets.
This is a blog service that offers a number of tips per day to subscribers. They advise bets to Best Odds Guaranteed bookies, where at least two bookies are offering the price quoted.
The results on the website look pretty good, with about 250 points profit made since the service started at the beginning of 2014.
However, whilst 2014 was very impressive, with nearly 300 points profit made, things have not been quite so good in 2015.
Still, with the flat season closing this weekend and the all-weather season getting into full swing, there should be plenty of action to get things going for them.
We will run our normal 3 month trial of this one and see how they get on.
In the meantime you can check out Sand Bets here.
