Full Review

We’ve come to the end of our three month trial of Global Soccer Goals and unfortunately the trial has ended in a 50 point loss.

The system is based on backing set selections if a match satisfies certain criteria. It can be used across all leagues around the world and during the Summer.

I chose to use it on the seven main European leagues of England, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Holland and Portugal. If you had used different or additional leagues then obviously you would have achieved different results to me.

I am always sceptical that a blanket approach like this can work across any league and team. Essentially the system is saying that the bookies are systematically pricing certain types of matches wrongly, day in, day out across all leagues around the world. Surely if that was the case then the market would just adjust?

I could see a system like this potentially working if you focused on certain terms who have a particular way of playing, although even then I would wonder if the market has that covered as well.

But certainly such a broad approach as this doesn’t seem to take account of the fact that a team like Barcelona, for instance, plays a very different way from a team like Juventus and therefore has different kinds of results.

I would need to see a good few seasons worth of statistics to convince me that the bookies were systematically pricing up these kinds of matches wrongly. Unless that is produced and on the basis of the trial’s results, I remain sceptical that this system can work long-term.

Ease of use: Usually takes around 5 minutes a day for find selections and another few minutes to place the bets.

Availability of prices: Good, prices are widely available and Betfair can also be used to place the bets.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 48%, which is a bit below the 56% stated in the system ebook.

Advised Betting Bank: A 50 point bank per league is advised, which should be more than ample to cover losing runs. I operated the system across 7 leagues so had a 350 point bank, which was never in danger of being lost.

Cost: The system is available for a one-off payment of £69.97.

OVERALL VERDICT: FAILED

Unfortunately Global Soccer Goals has failed to live up to expectations during our trial and with a 51 point loss has to go into the failed category.

Morning Value Service Full Review

There are those people out there who like to study the form, look at all the races and pick out their one best bet for the day.

The Morning Value Service takes a different approach – this is a high volume service that churns out between 15 and 25 bets a day.

Despite the name, they don’t just tip in the morning, but also send out a later update if there is evening racing as well 🙂

Basically the service is split into 4 types of bets:

  • The main selections for the morning
  • “Of interest” selections for the morning (these are a small number of more speculative long- odds bets)
  • The main evening bets
  • “Of interest” evening selections.

You can subscribe to the morning bets (including of interest bets), the evening selections, or both.

The morning bets are sent out at 10.30am and the evening bets around 4.30pm – 5pm. You are given an advised price for each selection. All bets are at 1 point level stakes.

The long term record of the service is superb, with 2600 points profit to 1 point level stakes over a period of three and a half years. That would be over £125,000 to £50 level stakes and £26,000 to just £10 stakes!

I have been a member of the service since July 2014 and results since then have been impressive.

Here are the results for the Morning bets in graph format:

Graph

Nice, steady bank growth and they have never been in deficit since I joined.

And here are the evening bet results:

Graph

Also very solid, steady bank growth over the period of the review.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: Good – I use Betfair to place bets and it takes me about 10 mins each day to place the bets. If you wanted to use bookies it would take considerably longer, I would guess perhaps 30 minutes or so. But you can still get good prices using Betfair – see below.

Availability of prices: Very good. Often when a service as good as this comes along, it almost becomes a victim of its own success and prices crash as soon as bets are sent out.

I have followed the selections at Betfair SP (BSP) however and have actually managed to slightly improve upon the advised prices. This really is good news for those of us that have already had our bookie accounts closed.

Strike rate: The strike rate is typically around 15-20% so it will encounter the odd drawdown along the way.

Advised Betting Bank: 250 points, which seems more than adequate to cover the losing runs at the above strike rate.

Subscription costs: High: £320 per quarter, £560 for 6 months or £960 for the year. This is for all the bets – morning and evening.

OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED

Although subscription costs are high, this has to be taken in the context of the overall record of the service, which is obviously excellent at over 2,500 points profit in 3 and a half years.

Although I have only been with this service for just over 6 months, I understand it has been proofed elsewhere before that so have no reason to question the long term results.

Kieran, who runs the service, seems like a very honest and decent guy and is always on hand to answer questions.

I would think you would need a minimum betting bank of £2500 to make it worthwhile to follow this service and make up for the high subscription costs.

If you can do, it is highly recommended and offers the possibility of making very good returns for less than 10 minutes work a day.

Can’t say fairer than that really can we!

This one definitely goes on to our passed systems list.

Football Bankbuilder – New Review

We will now be reviewing Football Bankbuilder, a football betting system from Matt Fisher.

The sales page claims you could turn £1,000 into over £30,000 in 36 months using the system and compounding the bank.

The system recommends using extremely aggressive fibonacci  style loss-recovery staking, which I have to say I am not a particularly big fan of. I will record results using both their recommended staking and level staking so we can see how well the system performs under both approaches.

Selections are pretty easy to find using Betfair and should only take a few minutes each day to obtain.

We will run the usual three month trial for this one and see if we can build our bank in the way they claim!

Value Football Betting – New Review

Check out Value Football Betting here

Today we will be commencing a review of Value Football Betting, a suite of services run by renowned trader Kevin Laverick. This service is a stablemate of the ever popular Goal Profits.

The service contains a range of options for the punter to follow, based primarily on a database covering 17 leagues from around the world, with comprehensive stats for each team over a number of seasons.

The idea of the database is to identify value bets which subscribers can then use to make their own selections.

If you don’t have time to find your own selections, Kevin puts up his own selections which you can choose to follow. He is also currently putting together a daily best bets package to give some further options.

In addition to all this, Kevin offers a “New Trader Project” which provides advice and assistance on how to become a successful trader like Kevin.

We are going to give Value Football Betting a three month trial and see how they get on.

In the meantime, more details are here.

Binary Forex Signals – New Review

You can check out Binary Forex Signals here

Today we are commencing a review of Binary Forex Signals, which as the name suggests provides signals for trading binaries.

It boasts a good record over the last couple of years which is encouraging.

The service seems very simple to follow, with signals sent out on a Friday and Monday and you can literally just click on the link in their e-mails to take you to page to trade. So you don’t need any prior knowledge of trading binaries to be able to operate this service.

I am new to binary trading myself so this will be something of an education, but it has a positive record so if it makes money, I don’t really mind what the particular market is!

Anyway, we will follow this for three months and see if it can keep up its previous positive record.

123 Free signals – New Review

You can sign up for 123 Free Signals here.

Well today we will be commencing our review of 123 free signals, a forex service that sends out signals across a range of forex markets.

What that means, if you are not familiar with the forex markets, is that they will send out a recommendation to buy or sell a particular foreign exchange market at a certain price, with fixed stop loss (to fix your potential losses) and target price levels (to set the amount of profit you could get if it goes right).

So for example, here was today’s signal sent out at 7.14 this morning:

SELL USDJPY 118.85 – 118.90
STOP 119.45 PROFIT 118.05

They send out updates to close trades sometimes, so not all trades will run to the target price or stop loss. You would need access to the markets during the day to close out these positions if you want to follow the recommendations exactly.

What we like about this particular service is that it is free (clue is in the name!), although they do require you to sign up with a particular broker and deposit 200 GBP. However, we don’t see this as too much of a problem, most brokers are much of a muchness we find.

Published results on the site show 12 consecutive months of profit, recording over 800 pips on average per month.

Before that it proofed for 4 months to an independent website and also managed profit each month, so this seems to be a very promising service.

This has made a positive start this week so let’s see how they get on during our three month trial.

Updates to follow in due course.

Dark Horses – New Review

You can check out Dark Horses here

We are starting a review of Dark Horses today, which is a betting system by Anthony Gibson over at bettingsystem.info

Selections are posted each morning on Tony’s forum for members of his site. Being a member also gives you access to a number of his other profitable services.

There are on average around two selections per day and the advice is to back them with a Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) bookmaker as soon as the selections are posted.

This has impressive results of over £30,000 (or 300 points) profit in around 16 months, so let’s see how it gets on during the trial.

Tim Russell’s Private Service – New Review

You can check out Tim Russell’s Private Service here

Today we will commence a trial of Tim’s Russell Private Service. This is a specialist horse racing service that averages around one bet per day.

Apparently Tim’s modus operandi is that each day he receives a fax – old school I know! 🙂 (does he also then watch some old horse races on VHS?) – listing horses that are going to be backed that day by connections. These bets are the ones the major bookmakers want to avoid taking money for so immediately shorten the prices as the money comes in.

So the idea is to get your money on quickly and then hopefully because connections are backing them, these are so-called “good things” and a decent portion of them will go on to win.

I am normally sceptical of people who say they getting “inside information” – firstly because it is notoriously unreliable and secondly because it has so become commonplace these days for services to claim they are getting inside info that it seems to have lost its value.

However, this service has what seem to be very encouraging results of around £18,000 profit over 18 months (or 180 points to £100 level stakes).

So I will reserve judgement until the end of the trial and see if this one can deliver.

Global Soccer Goals – New Review

You can check out Global Soccer Goals here

Today we will start a review of Global Soccer Goals, a service from the winningmore stable. It boasts profits of 259 points in its first five months, so let’s see if that can be matched during our trial.

Selections are simple to find and should only take a few minutes each day. There are five bets placed on each match that is a selection.

You can use the system on pretty much all leagues but for the purposes of this trial I will be using the big European leagues of the Premier League, French Ligue 1, the German Bundesliga, Italy’s Serie A, Spanish Primera Liga, the Dutch Eredivise and Portugal’s Primeira Liga.

We will wait to see how this one gets on.

In the meantime, if you would like to check out Global Soccer Goals, you can do so here.
