Going Out With a Bang! Grab Final Offer for #1 Tipster

It was a bittersweet moment recently as our number one recommended horse racing tipster, Quentin Franks Racing, announced his retirement.

After 8 years of pulverising the bookies, hundreds of winners and profit every single year, the maestro decided it was time to finally to call it a day on a glittering tipping career. His last tip will be on 31st December this year.

We can almost hear the bookies popping the champagne corks from here.

But they shouldn’t get carried away just yet…

Because Quentin isn’t quite done…

No, he is determined to “go out with a bang” and before he finally hangs up his tipping boots he is determined to give the bookies a final, big thumping before the end of December.

And that’s exactly what he did yesterday, with £781 profit landed.

That included a 16/1 winner, with Nader winning the 19.30 at Kempton, following a 9/4 winner earlier in the day at Nottingham.

Which came off the back of £375 profit the day before that.

So it’s clear that he’s certainly ending 2022 in style, and so can you.

Check out his retirement offer by clicking here, and stick some of the bookies money in your bank in the remaining weeks of this year.

Live Q&A – New Service

There’s a new service called First Class Racing we’re about to start a review of, but before we do they’re holding a special event.

Yes, Duncan Moreland is your host for the First Class Racing Live Q&A they’re holding at 7PM on Wednesday 26th October…

And here’s why he thinks you should be very excited about this event…

2022 has been a rough year for everyone – investors, savers, ordinary people like me and you…

Stock markets crashed…

Crypto markets belly flopped…

Energy prices are through the roof and doing their best to get to the moon…

And the government – not wanting to be left out – threw the pound, along with the UK economy, off of a very high cliff…

You know, just for fun!

Yet, amidst all of this money-swallowing financial chaos, one man has been steadily, confidently printing money for his members…

Not literally printing money like the Bank of England and Federal Reserve, mind!

At least as far as I know…

I’m talking about horse racing tipster Mel Gee who, over the last 14 months, has helped his First Class Racing members more than double their money!

In other words, turn £500 into £1,000, £1,000 into £2,000, £5,000 into £10,000, or £10,000 into £20,000…

You get the idea – I’m sure we all know what doubling is!

And that’s why they’re holding the First Class Racing Live Q&A at 7PM on Wednesday 26th October.

We’ll be running a review of the service but are interested to hear what it’s all about and how Mel has doubled his betting bank.

So we can chat to Mel on Wednesday to find out more…

Reserve your free space now.

Notable Winners Of The Breeders Cup Classic

Taking place from late October to early November, the Breeders’ Cup Classic has taken place every year since 1984.

The race is a 1 ¼ mile dirt track and is considered the premier thoroughbred race of the year in the US.

This is because the race is filled with high-quality horses, just take a look at what the 2022 breeders cup classic will entail. The winners of the Breeders’ Cup Classic often go on to win the Horse of the Year honors, so clearly these horses are considered some of the best in their field.

Below we have listed some notable winners of the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Each of these horses brought something to the track that has made their victory one for the history books.

Wild Again, 1984

We start off our list with the first-ever winner of the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Wild Again went up against fan favorite Slew O’ Gold and Gate Dancer in a very close race. It had everyone on the edge of their seats and in the end, Wild Again finished by a neck over Gate Dancer. 10 minutes later Gate Dancer was disqualified to third but Wild Again retained his victory.

Ferdinand, 1987

This race consisted of 2 Kentucky Derby winners battling it out. Ferdinand went against Alysheba in a close game in which he ended up winning by a nose. Alysheba would end up winning the Breeders’ Cup Classic in 1988.

What makes this win notable is that Ferdinand won the Champion Older Male Horse and Horse of the Year that year and is the first winner of the Breeders’ Cup Classic to have been honored with both of these titles.

Sunday Silence, 1989

The rivalry between Sunday Silence and Easy Goer is considered one of the greatest rivalries in horse racing history, and this Breeders’ Cup Classic was their final race against each other.

While Easy Goer had the odds to win, Sunday Silence won by a neck at the wire. It was an intense race that many fans won’t ever forget.

Arcangues, 1993

Possibly the most popular winner to come out of the Breeders’ Cup Classic. This is because Arcangues wasn’t expected to win. He was a French horse who had previously only ridden on grass and it was the Jockey’s first time riding him.

Despite all this, Arcangues won against 133-1 odds. To this day, this is still considered the biggest upset in Breeders’ Cup history.

Cigar, 1995

When Cigar entered the Breeders’ Cup Classic he was on a victory streak, and his win here extended it.

He won by an impressive length and speed causing the announcer to call him “unconquerable, invincible, unbeatable,” a phrase that would stick with him until his death in 2014.

Tiznow, 2000 & 2001

Tiznow is not only the only horse to win the Breeders’ Cup Classic twice, but he also won those titles in a row.

It is his 2001 victory that most people remember. Tiznow had some physical problems after his 2000 win but came to the track strong. It was the first Breeders’ Cup Classic after the 911 attacks and morale was down amongst the American people. When Tiznow won the race by a nose the announcer stated, “Tiznow wins it for America!”

Volponi, 2002

Volponi managed to win by a record 6 ½ lengths, the most notable part of this race happened after. Winning over 44 to 1 odds, Volponi’s victory exposed the largest betting scandal in the last century of US history.

Ghostzapper, 2004

Despite never running at that distance, Ghostzapper impressed fans by not only winning the race but setting a speed record. He managed to set a final time of 1:59.02 which is an unofficial Breeders’ Cup record. Since every Cup is at a different track there is no official record.

Zenyatta, 2009

Zenyatta is the only female horse to have won the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Instead of defending her title at the Ladies’ Classic, Zenyatta entered the Breeders’ Cup Classic through connections.

At this point in her career, she had a perfect run and despite falling behind early in the race she quickly picked up distance and ended up winning by a length over second place.

She is the first horse to win 2 different Breeders’ Cup titles.

American Pharoah, 2015

American Pharoah is the newest winner on our list and this is because he helped to popularize a whole term in horse racing. He is the first horse to complete the Grand Slam of Thoroughbred racing.

This meant he won the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, Belmont Stakes, and the Breeders’ Cup Classic all in one season.

Conclusion

As you can see, the Breeders’ Cup Classic is filled with incredible finishes with unpredictable finishes. Due to the talent of all the horses on the track, the odds are usually close. If the win of Arcangues taught us anything, it’s that even the horse no one thought would win, can win.

These intense races are why the Breeders’ Cup Classic is so popular and is one of the richest races in the world.

That completed a stunning weekend for the Bookie Insiders service and it’s not the first time they’ve landed multiple big winners in the same weekend.

Have England peaked under Gareth Southgate?

English football has been riding a wave of momentum since the 2018 World Cup in Russia. On that occasion, the Three Lions surprised the watching world by reaching the semi-finals in Moscow and since then, the team has continued to stamp its mark on international football.

Indeed, England followed that up by earning their spot in the 2021 UEFA Euro final at Wembley only to suffer an agonizing defeat to Italy on penalties.

In many respects, it is a case of what could have been for Gareth Southgate’s men after passing up two opportunities to lift some of football’s most coveted prizes. This may seem like a harsh view of England’s success over the last four years but the uncomfortable truth is that dynasties and good times don’t last forever in the world of football.

Essentially, teams have to take their chances or face a reality where they look back on the past with regrets. Of course, the latest World Cup Odds suggest that England could still capitalize on what they’ve built over the last few years given that the Three Lions are at just 13/2 to go all the way in Qatar.

Tellingly, only Brazil and France have better odds which again, indicates that Southgate’s men are in good shape coming into the showpiece in the Middle East. That, at least, is the statistical view but if we were to focus on England’s 2022 UEFA Nations League campaign, a different verdict would be reached.

All things told it was a miserable summer for England despite the country going through a set of heatwaves last experienced in 1976. Indeed, being beaten by Hungary at home and away whilst only managing draws with Italy and Germany was far from the ideal preparation with the World Cup only a few months from starting.

It should be pointed out that it was, in the player’s defence, a long season and it does feel as if this Nations League is losing relevance with every game that is played. Put another way, there is no reason for the league to be extended into the summer in order to play what has been described as glorified friendlies. This is, after all, a crucial time for the players to recover after nine months of nonstop football.

This may go a long way in explaining England’s lethargic performances in the summer but there is also an inescapable reality that this team is running out of time to make the most of their ability. Indeed, when you consider that this is the first time that the world has seen this England team flag since 2017, your natural conclusion is that the Three Lions may have peaked under Southgate.

Time will tell but the World Cup in Qatar is without a shadow of any doubt, the last chance for this group of players under Southgate to write their names into the history books. Whichever way things go for England, you imagine change will inevitably be in the offing when their team planes leaves the humidity of Hamad International Airport to return to the depths of winter at Heathrow, it really is now or never.

Celebrate 8 Years of Beating the Bookies with Special Offer!

Our number one recommended horse racing tipster is celebrating eight years of being a tipster this month – and has got a special offer to celebrate!

Yes, Quentin Franks Racing has been going for a full eight years now (how time flies!) and has been clobbering the bookies throughout his career.

Having made just under 1800 points profit in total, he stands apart as one of the most successful tipsters in any sport, not just horse racing.

There are very few tipsters who have managed to break through the 1,000 point barrier so to be closing in on 2000 points is simply stunning.

That would be £18,000 profit at just £10 per point stakes or £45,000 profit at £25 per point stakes.

With a rock solid return on investment of 16% and a decent strike rate of 22%, there really isn’t much more you could ask for from a service.

And to celebrate eight years of beating the bookies, Quentin is offering a month’s trial for just £4 (normal price £47), or £479 for a lifetime subscription (saving hundreds of pounds per year).

Grab this Special Offer Here.

Man City’s tame opening fixtures hand Pep Guardiola’s men potentially decisive title advantage

At some point or other, someone would have told you that the Premier League is a marathon and not a sprint.

Of course, this is true in almost every situation as the world’s most competitive football league meanders through nine months, four seasons, and makes up 38 grueling games. In this sense, you can see why this is a phrase that is repeated so often when talking about any possible outcome in England’s top flight.

The 2022/2023 season, however, could be over before it ever began which is why it’s perhaps best to disregard this particular one-liner over the summer.

Indeed, Manchester City’s tame opening fixtures will hand them a huge title advantage, which frankly, they probably don’t need as the latest betting markets will indicate with the latest football odds pricing Pep Guardiola’s men at 4/7 to make it a hat-trick of Premier League trophies.

Now, you would have to say that this is a generous price when considering that City could well win the opening six games of the season and incredibly, open up a gap at the top of the table before the autumn solstice arrives.

Indeed, City will play West Ham, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, and Aston Villa, before their very first test of the season arrives in the shape of Tottenham Hotspur coming to the Etihad Stadium on September the 10th.

The clash with Antonio Conte’s men aside, you do get the feeling that City could rack up 18 points from their opening six fixtures with no team realistically looking capable of causing the Premier League’s reigning champions too much trouble.

Perhaps, if pressed, you could point to the world’s richest club, Newcastle, potentially giving City a bloody nose at St James’ Park on the 20th of August but then you have to keep in mind that Guardiola’s charges have netted eight goals in their last two trips to Tyneside.

Put another way, they don’t tend to struggle when the Toon host them which, again, means that City are well set up to enjoy a maximum points return before the visit of Spurs.

City’s title challengers set to struggle

By contrast, nearest title rivals Liverpool have to go to Old Trafford on matchday three and you would expect the Red Devils to put up a much-improved fight under the management of new boss Erik ten Hag.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have to host a rejuvenated Spurs on matchday two which will be far from straightforward as a determined Conte returns to Stamford Bridge. Furthermore, at odds of 12/5 on a Spurs win, you do get the sense that this will be a fixture where value can be found with Chelsea a bit at sea following the departure of former owner Roman Abramovich.

In general, however, you can all of a sudden see that City have been handed seemingly safe passage until mid-September which should ensure they enjoy some kind of points advantage after six games. In reality, that may be all the Premier League champions need to ride off into the sunset for the third year in a row.

Bill Benter: Gambling’s Racetrack King

Here at Honest Betting Reviews we are commencing a series of articles looking at the greatest professional gamblers of past and present.

Partly we are doing this to see what we can learn, partly to draw some inspiration and partly just because most of them are fascinating stories!

These guys have not only managed to succeed where 98% of gamblers fail in actually making money, but have taken things to a whole other level in making large amounts of money – many of them in doing so changing the face the gambling as we know it.

The first in our series certainly did all of those things – and more. We hope you enjoy this article and the series.

Bill Benter – a global gambling phenomenon

The geography of Bill Benter’s life spans the globe, from his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Hong Kong, where he made a fortune and, as a professional gambler, revolutionized racetrack betting. Benter has feet firmly in both areas: he is a charitable contributor to multiple organizations in Pittsburgh and several years ago was married in Hong Kong in a Tibetan Buddhist ceremony.

Why does the title of this article call Benter a racetrack king? Two reasons: 1) he is simply incredibly successful at gambling and 2) he is one of the bettors who has computerized the sport of betting, making it, in the words of Wired magazine, “more and more like a stock market model…horses should be thought of as Dell or Microsoft – their past performances are the equivalent of economic charts.”

Hong Kong High Roller

First, let’s talk about the success. Benter makes an estimated $10 million per year from his Hong Kong betting activities. Hong Kong is an incredibly lucrative market. Two racetracks alone bring in an estimated 71 billion in Hong Kong dollars. The amount bet on each race in Hong Kong is simply “the largest in the world” according to Wired.

Benter moved to Hong Kong, in a sense, after Las Vegas threw him out for being too successful—and for having a system that worked. When he was a young man, Benter read a book beloved by many a gambler, Beat the Dealer. He was mesmerized, and put the book’s principles in play in blackjack at the tables in Las Vegas. Beat the Dealer was oriented around mathematical analysis, essentially crunching all the variables and translating them into mathematical probability. Benter, starting with a relatively small stake, found it not only mesmerizing, but a great way to precisely calculate probability—and thereby make large amounts of money.

Fast forward to Hong Kong, where in the mid-1980s, with only a $150,000 bankroll, Benter and his then-partner set up shop in gambling on horse races. Hong Kong is not only a staggeringly lucrative gambling market, it is known to be clean, run and maintained by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, a not-for-profit organization that maintains a limited pool of competing horses. The aboveboard nature and the limited pool created ideal conditions for a mathematically oriented model.

Success was not instantaneous—Wired estimates that Benter lost his shirt once if not more—but when it came, it came big. Many have dubbed him the world’s pre-eminent sports bettor—the most successful and the most disciplined.

Revolutionising Betting

Second, let’s talk about the revolution he helped make. The computerized gambling that Benter and his group represent have made gambling more than a sport that relies on bets and hunches. Working with a group of employees, the Benter horse racing system essentially analyzes probabilities in a way not tremendously differently than Beat the Dealer advises—but instead of cards and other players, it is the horses, the jockeys, the track, and more.

They analyze multiple variables from the track. Horses are assigned grades on such factors as how they come out of a turn, how they recover, how they finish, the jockey’s past performance, and the condition of the track. When Benter started, it is believed that he analyzed roughly 30 variables. Now, all told, roughly 130 variables are graded minutely via specially designed software, put into a database, and utilized to predict the outcome of a given race.

More than a Professor or President – a King

Benter has gathered accolades from all over the world for his success and his system. He has been invited to lecture in mathematics departments and served as president of a Hong Kong Rotary Club. But, as the title says, in the world of which the Hong Kong racetrack betting is a part, he’s more than a professor or a president—he’s a king.

The system from our winning systems list that sounds most similar to the methods used by Benter is Back Lucrative let’s hope they can emulate some of the success achieved by Bill 🙂
