The 567 Method – Full Review

The idea behind the 567 Method is that it is meant to produce five bets per day, six days per week, giving seven points profit every week.

Nice idea in theory.

But sadly it didn’t turn out anything like that during our trial, finishing 43 points down in the end after three months.

The target of making seven points per week always seemed somewhat arbitrary (and hopeful) to us and that is what it proved to be.

Here are the results for the trial in graph format:

567 Method Profit Graph

As you can see, things went downhill fairly early before a brief rally, but then there was a long losing run towards the end.

Some people in the comments below asked whether this is a scam. We don’t think it qualifies as a “scam” as such because it was never promising to make seven points profit per week, it was just a target – however arbitrary and unlikely that may have been.

But it does go down as a disappointing system and it’s a FAILED rating from us unfortunately.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use:  The selections are sent out in the morning by e-mail and there are five selections per day (apart from Sundays when there are none), so plenty of time to get the bets on.

Availability of prices:  There wasn’t much of a problem getting the advised prices and indeed the BSP results ended up virtually the same as the advised price results.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was over 21%, so there were some losing streaks, particularly towards the end.

Advised Betting Bank: No betting bank was advised, but we used a 100 point bank, which we lost nearly half of during the trial.

Subscription costs: The service is currently full so subscription costs are not available at the moment.

OVERALL VERDICT: FAILED

The concept of making 7 points profit per week sadly didn’t materalise for the 567 Method during our trial.

In fact we finished 43 points down, lost nearly half our bank and only had a small proportion of the weeks during our trial when the target was hit.

So unfortunately it’s a FAILED rating for the 567 Method and time to move on to the next system.

567 Method – Results Update

10th December 2016

Not much change to report for the 567 Method, with just one point of profit added since our last update a few weeks ago.

That means we are now 15 points down for the trial overall at advised prices.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP we are 13 points down, so unusually we are doing slightly better at Betfair SP than at advised prices.

We have just over a week to go in our trial, so let’s hope for a good finish from the 567 Method to take us into profit overall.

567 Method – Results Update

21st November 2016

There has been an improvement for the 567 Method since our last update at the end of October.

They have made 13 points profit in November, bringing them to 16 points down for the trial overall.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP things are slightly better, with them being 11 points down for the trial.

We have a month left in the trial, so will be interesting to see if they can continue the good recent form and finish in profit.

Back soon with more updates.

567 Method – Results Update

31st October 2016

It’s been a tough run for the 567 Method since our last update a few weeks ago.

They have lost 32 points at advised prices since our last update, to sit at -29 points overall for the trial.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP, things are identical at 29 points down as well.

So far this is failing to live up to its billing of delivering 7 points profit per week. In fact we have only hit that target one week to date.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

567 Method – Results Update

6th October 2016

The 567 Method is a horse racing tipster that aims to provide 5 bets per day, 6 days per week, to win 7 points profit per week (hence 5-6-7).

So have they managed it so far?

Well not quite – the first week we hit the profit target, the second we didn’t and the third we are mid-way through.

So overall, we are 3 points up at advised prices and 4 points up at Betfair SP.

You can view full results here.

What happens is that if you hit the 7-point target for the week, then you stop there and there are no more bets for the week.

In the first week, the target was hit on Monday so there were no more bets for the rest of the week!

It is perhaps not surprising that the 7-point target has not been hit for the second week as it is somewhat arbitrary.

If your selection process works, why not carry it on for the rest of the week?

Everyone has their own approach to betting though I suppose.

We will see how things go with this and report back soon with another update.

567 Method – New Review

14th September 2016

We have been getting quite a few e-mails lately about something called the “567 Method.”

So always keen to check out any new offerings that come about and expose any possible scams, we thought we would investigate.

Upon clicking on the link you are taken to a glossy sales page with a video by a guy called “Ben Dawson.”

Now there are a number of things that worry us about this page.

Firstly there is the “only 7 days left to sign up.”

No successful system we have ever come across has this kind of sales pressure, certainly not at the outset.

Some will limit numbers of subscribers to protect prices after they have established a strong record of success over perhaps 1 or 2 years, but not to some arbitrary deadline.

Then there are the claims that he makes £700 per week, although when you watch the video he clarifies that he doesn’t actually make that amount every week.

Finally when we signed up, we immediately got requests to sign up to other services that Ben runs – never a good sign.

Anyway, the 567 method is supposedly 5 bets, 6 days per week, making 7 points profit on average. Simple enough.

There is no information about how selections are arrived at – “Well that is a secret that I am not willing to let out of the bag.”

There are no published results either to back up the claim of profits being made.

So all in all we have to say we are skeptical about the 567 Method so far.

But we will put these doubts aside and run a three month trial to see whether Ben can back up his claims with some solid results.

We will be back soon with our first update.

In the meantime you can check out the 567 Method here.

The All Weather God – Final Review

Unfortunately our review of the All Weather God has to stop here as the service has been discontinued by the Betting Gods platform.

Apparently results weren’t up to expectations, although to us they didn’t seem too bad, just around level for the trial.

But that just goes to show how cutthroat the world of tipping is – if you are not making regular profits then you are out the game! Harsh stuff.

Anyway, given that this has been discontinued, we will have to place it in the failed/defunct pile.

On to the next review then…

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

The All Weather God – Results Update

20th September 2016

A fairly quiet time for the All Weather God, with 5 points lost at advised prices since our last update.

That leaves him 1 point down for the trial overall.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP, things are slightly worse, with 8 points lost since our last update, leaving him 13 points down overall.

Just a few weeks left in our trial, so let’s hope for a big finish to lift the All Weather God into profit.

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

The All Weather God – Results Update

28th August 2016

Not a great deal of change for the All Weather God since our last update at the end of July, with 3 points lost since then at advised prices.

That means they are now 5 points up for the trial at advised prices and 5 points down at Betfair SP.

You can view full results here.

With the flat season winding down in September and the all-weather getting geared up, we should see a good deal of action for the All Weather God.

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

The All Weather God – Results Update

30th July 2016

It’s been a steady start to our trial of the All Weather God, a horse racing tipster from the Betting Gods stable.

So far after just under a month, they are 8 points up at advised prices and 1 point up at Betfair SP.

You can view full results here.

Even though it isn’t the ideal time of year for all weather betting, there have still been a decent number of tips so far, with 38 selections since our trial started on 5th July.

A solid start then, let’s hope it’s a platform for big success over the rest of the trial.

Back soon with more updates.

The All Weather God – New Review

5th July 2016

Some of the top tipsters we have reviewed so far here at Honest Betting Reviews have been from the Betting Gods stable of tipsters.

So when a new entrant joins their gang of tipping experts we sit up and take notice.

The latest to join the crew is the modestly-named All Weather God.

As you have probably already guessed, this is a tipster who specialises in all-weather racing only.

Although we are in the flat turf season at the moment, there is still plenty of all-weather racing and the discipline seems to be expanding all the time, with Newcastle recently adding a new dirt track.

That may be because the weather is so unpredictable these days, what with climate change and all that as we are experiencing more frequent floods and heavy rains, so racecourses are having to adapt as there is nothing worse for them than losing a load of race days (and income) to the bad weather.

In any event, it is good news for punters as the all weather does tend to be more predictable and less subject to the increasingly variable going conditions we are seeing in flat racing, particularly this summer.

The All Weather God has amassed some pretty impressive results so far, netting over 80 points profit at a strike rate of just under 30% and a return on investment of over 10%.

Six out of seven months so far have been profitable which is encouraging, so hopefully we will see that level of consistency during our trial.

The good news is you can get a 30 day trial of The All Weather God for just £1 here.

We will run our normal three month trial and report back regularly on how things go for this dirt specialist.

Hopefully we will have good news to report during our first update in a month’s time.

In the meantime you can check out The All Weather God here.

Ultimate Horse Power – Final Review

Oh dear.

What can we say really?

Sometimes everything that can go wrong, does go wrong.

This has been the case for Ultimate Horse Power sadly, who on 26th May reached the disappointing point of having blown the whole advised 100 point bank.

You can view full results here.

Any service that reaches that point has to be an automatic fail really.

You can debate whether the advised bank should have been bigger, and with a strike rate of 17%, there is an argument that it should have been quite a bit more substantial.

However, we can only go with is advised at the outset of our trial and on that basis the whole bank was lost.

Sometimes that just happens in betting, occasionally any service can hit a horror run.

But in the sink-or-swim world of tipping, anything that doesn’t excel sadly falls by the wayside and so with 100 points lost in a month, Ultimate Horse Power is one such service.

OVERALL RATING: FAILED

Ultimate Horse Power – Results Update

13th May 2016

It seems like the reviewer’s curse has struck again.

So often it seems like a tipster or betting system has a brilliant record and promises great levels of return.

But then for some reason, as soon as you start a review of said product, things go pear-shaped.

This has been the case so far with Ultimate Horse Power, which had made a superb 230 points profit coming into our trial, with an average monthly profit of 59 points.

However, unfortunately after three weeks of the trial we are 44 points down.

You can view full results here.

All bets are placed at Betfair SP and a bot can be used for placing the bets, as there are a large number of bets each day.

It is early days of course, so plenty of time to turn things around and get back to winning ways for Ultimate Horse Power.

Back soon with more updates.

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Ultimate Horse Power – New Review

25th April 2016

There are generally two approaches to betting on the horses.

One is to take a very selective approach, scanning the races very carefully and only choosing those one or two bets each day that really stand out.

Then there is the other approach that focuses on high volume betting, backing 10-20 horses per day and looking to take advantage of a small edge over the market that repeated many times, will add up to big profits over time.

There is no “wrong” or “right” approach as such – both can work well.

However, the latter can certainly build a bank more quickly and tends to lead to higher profit levels at the end of an extended period of say a year.

And it is into this latter category that our latest trialist falls.

Ultimate Horse Power is a relatively new service to the reputable Pro Betting Club stable and has amassed an impressive record so far.

After 4 months, the service is over 230 points in profit.

That works out at 59 points profit per month, a very decent average.

And April is going well so far too, with over 30 points profit accumulated to date in the month.

The good thing is that the results are recorded at Betfair SP, which is reassuring and means you know you can match their results.

As we say, there are a large number of bets each day – often between 20 and 30 – so if you were doing things manually then it could take a bit of time to place the bets.

However, if time is an issue then you can use a bot to place the bets for you. Full instructions of how to set up the Bet Engine bot to place bets for you are given on the Pro Betting Club website.

A 100 point bank is advised for the service, so hopefully that will be enough to cover losing runs and give us steady returns.

Anyway, without further ado, we are pleased to get our trial of Ultimate Horse Power underway and we will return soon with our first update.

In the meantime, you can check out Ultimate Horse Power here.

Strand Each Way – Final Review

We have come to the end of our three month trial of Strand Each Way and here are the final results:

Profit/loss:    -44 points

Strand Each Way Full Review

Unfortunately after the trial of Stand Each Way had started well, it went steadily downhill and ended a disappointing 44 points in loss.

This shows again how tough it is to make a profit from betting and that tipping is no easy game. Only the very best and most talented make it. Remember that stat – 98% of gamblers lose money overall.

There doesn’t seem much point doing an in-depth review here as the service has been discontinued, so you wouldn’t be able to join up now anyway.

Oh well, another one goes into the failed bin and we hope for better from our next review…

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Strand Each Way – Results Update

8th February 2016

Sadly there has been quite a reversal in form for Strand Each Way since our last update a month ago.

At that point they were a nice 18 points up and moving along rather smoothly.

But since then things have turned sour, with 63 points dropped to leave them at 45 points down overall.

You can view full results here.

They have also recently changed themselves from Stand Each Way to Strand Win!

Basically you can back their tips either each way or win now, with their preference being win only.

Backing win only over the course of the trial so far would have produced 27 points profit, so at the moment that looks like the better option.

However, as we started out the trial following the tips each way we will stick to that in the official proofing record.

We will return with our final review soon.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Strand Each Way – Results Update

9th January 2016

It has been more steady if unspectacular progress from Strand Each Way since our last update, with a further six points of profit added.

That means they are 18 points up overall for the trial after almost two months.

You can view full results here.

All bets are simply placed at Betfair, with 1 point on the win and 1 point on the place, so a really easy service to follow.

Back in just over a month’s time with our final report on Strand Each Way.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Strand Each Way – Results Update

4th December 2015

It has been a solid start so far to our trial of Strand Each Way, the latest service from the Pro Betting Club.

After around 3 weeks of results, they are 12 points up.

You can view full results here.

All selections are simply backed at Betfair SP, which makes things nice and easy. All bets are each way, which of course on Betfair means you have to put one point on the win and one on the place.

To get the selections, you have to log in each day to the website at around 1pm. It would be preferable if selections were e-mailed out to subscribers, so hopefully this is something they will look at in future.

Anyway, so far so good for Strand Each Way. Let’s hope it continues in the same vein.

More results soon.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Strand Each Way – New Review

14th November 2015

Today we are commencing a trial of a horse racing tipster from the reputable Pro Betting Club stables called Strand Each Way.

As the name suggests, this is a service that focuses exclusively on each-way betting.

The other Pro Betting Club service we have reviewed, Win Form Pro, has achieved excellent results so we are hopeful for more of the same from Strand Each Way.

They started tipping in January 2015 and their published results look very impressive, with 159 points profit accumulated so far, which averages out at about 16 points profit per month.

That has been achieved with a nice 40% strike rate (including the placed horses), which means losing runs here shouldn’t be too long and we should be able to build a bank reasonably steadily if results hold up.

The thing we really like about the service is that all results are quoted at Betfair SP, which means you know you can match their results and could potentially beat them with the use of best odds guaranteed bookmakers.

It is particularly useful for a service that tips each way to use Betfair SP, because the place market on Betfair typically does not offer the same value as backing each-way with the bookies, so you really are getting a fair deal with this tipster.

We aren’t given too many clues as to how the selections are chosen, other than that they are very selective and use an exhaustive set of filters.

Anyway, as ever the main thing is that the results are good, so we will see how they get on during our trial.

We will be back soon with updates on how things are going. In the meantime you can check out Strand Each Way here.

Layer of Profit Full Review

Sadly we have hit a bit of a theme lately.

It started when a service we had just started reviewing a few weeks ago, Racing Bulletin, went offline and stopped providing tips after just a few days – no explanation, just gone.

Then Half Time Hero, a football betting system we had been reviewing for a couple of months, abruptly stopped sending tips and shut the service with no warning or explanation.

Well, they say these things come in threes and now we have the same situation with Layer of Profit.

We had been following the tips for over two months when suddenly we just stopped receiving any more selections after 14th January.

Wondering what was going on, we sent them a couple of e-mails to ask if the service was being discontinued, but have received no response to date.

As we said in our final review of Half Time Hero, it is one thing if they decide to discontinue the service, but it is disappointing not to be notified of what is going on.

Plus if we hadn’t noticed and cancelled our subscription, then we would have gone on paying the monthly subscription fees.

Anyway, the service had been performing fairly disastrously during our trial and was heading for a failed rating anyway, having lost 50% of the bank by the time we stopped receiving the selections.

That is probably why they stopped – we imagine the poor run meant they had hardly any subscribers left.

That is something we are noticing in the tipping game – if you have a bad run, the punters don’t tend to stick around long to give you a chance to turn things around.

It really is a win or bust industry. With hundreds of tipsters out there, if you don’t make a decent profit consistently then people are going to leave and jump onto the next thing that comes along.

So unfortunately its a failed rating for the first laying service we have reviewed here at Honest Betting Reviews.

Onto the next system and let’s hope whatever it is, it manages to complete a three month trial…

Layer of Profit – Results Update

2nd January 2016

A quiet time for Layer of Profit in more ways than one since our last update in November. On the one hand, they have rather trod water since our last update, with just 0.6 points lost since then, leaving them 11.6 points down overall.

You can view full results here.

On the other hand, it has also been quiet because there have been very few tips. They have quite a few days without tips and are having the entire period from 19th December to 4th January off on holiday.

So even though we have been following this service for two months, we actually don’t have many results to go on.

Hopefully the volume and results will pick up in January for Layer of Profit and we will have more positive news to report in our next update.

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Layer of Profit – Results Update

22nd November 2015

It has been a poor start to our trial of Layer of Profit, the first laying service we have reviewed here at Honest Betting Reviews.

They are 11 points down so far, which is quite a lot for a laying service that lays at odds of 4.0. Out of 10 bets that have run so far, five have lost.

You can view full results here.

In fact, you would have done quite well backing all their selections at Betfair SP – 18 points in profit in fact.

Still, it is early days as we have only had about three weeks so far, so plenty of time to turn things around.

Back soon with more updates.

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Layer of Profit – New Review

4th November 2015

It is another first here for us at Honest Betting Reviews. After recently starting our first trial of a greyhound tipster, today we are starting our first trial of a lay betting system.

There is something very appealing about laying horses. Instinctively it feels like it must be easier to pick horses to lose – ones that are out of form, have conditions against them, are trying to do something they’ve never done before or are simply outclassed.

All you need is for one of the other horses to cross the line ahead of yours and you’ve made a profit.

Sadly those of us who have tried laying have found it’s not quite as easy as it sounds. You can have a few successful lays and feel very good about things, then one big priced lay comes home and wipes out all your hard work.

It does require a very specialist approach and there are few tipsters out there who make a profit from lay betting.

Fortunately we have found one out there who does appear quite promising though and that is Layer of Profit, which is a long-standing laying system that sends out just one lay a day.

They lay at maximum odds of 4.0 on Betfair, so no crazy laying of massive-priced outsiders which risk wiping out the bank in one go.

Results over the last five months or so look good, with over 50 points profit made and a solid profit each month.

They have been around for a few years, which is normally a good sign of long-term success and we understand they have quite a few happy members who have been with them for over 3 years.

So without further ado, we will commence our trial of Layer of Profit and will update results here throughout the trial.

In the meantime you can check out Layer of Profit here.

Racing Professionals Flat Service – Final Review

It is the end of our three month trial of the Racing Professionals Flat service and here are the final results:

Profit/loss: -132 points

Average number of tips: 4 per day

Racing Professionals Flat Service Final Review

Well at the end of our trial of the Racing Professionals Flat Service, what can we say – other than it has been something of a sorry story for them over the last three months.

Sadly they have ended up with a 132 point deficit and have lost 88% of the advised bank.

They do rely somewhat on picking some big priced winners, with past results showing winners at 100/1 and above, so they are perhaps just one big winner away from turning things around.

Unfortunately though, we can only judge a service on what is has achieved during our trial and with an 88% loss of the bank, it has been a disappointing run.

Certainly we would suggest that on the basis of this trial, a 150 point bank is not nearly enough and 300 points or more would be appropriate.

You should never get this close to losing your entire bankroll, although we suspect in reality after a drawdown like this most people would have stopped following the tips in any event.

Anyway, here are the results in graph format:

Racing Professionals Flat Service Profit Graph

It’s been one way traffic – unfortunately the wrong way – for the majority of the trial.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: Very good – the tips are sent out by e-mail early in the morning and then all bets are simply placed at Betfair SP, so very quick to operate.

Availability of prices: As above, with all bets placed at Betfair SP, there are no issues around price availability.

Strike rate: With the strike rate for the trial down at just 10%, it was clearly well below the expected level for the service to make a profit.

Advised Betting Bank: The advised bank was 150 points, which was clearly not enough as we lost 132 points and 88% of the bank. We would think a 300 point bank would be needed given the drawdown experienced during our trial.

Subscription costs: The subscription costs are high at £44.99 per month.

OVERALL VERDICT: FAILED

There doesn’t seem to be any other possible verdict than failed with a 132 point loss and 88% bank decline.

This trial has shown once again that it is no easy ride making money in this game and some long losing runs can hit anyone, whatever their experience and level of expertise.

Hopefully they will hit a nice 100/1 winner soon and get back on track, but for the moment this one has to be added to the failed systems pile.

Tim Russell Private Service Final Review

I was heading into this trial with high hopes given that it was £18,000 in profit (or 180 points) over the previous 18 months. It also had a high strike rate so I saw this as a service that could grow a bank quite quickly.

However, sadly that has not proved the case this time and it has been a disappointing trial. We have ended up 11 points down at advised prices and over 17 points at Betfair SP (BSP).

Considering the advised bank is 20 points, we have lost over half of it at advised prices and nearly the whole thing at BSP!

The thing that I found intriguing during this trial though was that selections were consistently backed in, sometimes significantly. This suggests that the information Tim gets is genuine and/or he is able to identify selections that will be backed.

So perhaps there are trading opportunities here, for example to back selections when they are given out and lay them later.

That is not what is advised though and I didn’t investigate it during our trial. We can only the judge the service on what is has achieved during our trial and unfortunately it has not lived up to expectations.

Ease of use: OK – you have to log in to a forum to find the selections rather than having them e-mailed to you. Selections are available at 10.15 am daily (UK time) and it is advised to use a Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) bookmaker. There are on average about 6 bets per week so it shouldn’t take long to place the bets.

Availability of prices: Bad. Prices often disappear quickly so you need to login at 10.15 am sharp (or even a little earlier) and place your bets quickly. You are warned about this before joining the service though so it is a case of “buyer beware!”

Strike rate: The strike rate during the trial was 32% which is ok but below previous standards which are more towards 40% plus.

Advised Betting Bank: This was my major gripe with the service – a 20 point bank was advised, which is clearly not enough given that we lost over half of that at advised prices and nearly all of it at BSP! I would think at least a 40 point bank should be advised.

Subscription costs: The subscription costs are very reasonable at £30 per month, which includes not just Tim’s tips but a suite of other systems and tips from Tony Gibson’s www.bettingsystem.info website.

OVERALL VERDICT: FAILED

Unfortunately this service hasn’t lived up to expectations during our trial and with over half the bank lost it has to go into the failed category

I am still at least a little bit intrigued by the fact that selections are consistently backed in though so will continue to keep an eye on this to see if results improve.

All Weather Ultimate Final Review

Well we have come to the end of our three month trial of All Weather Ultimate and unfortunately it has ended in a 64 point loss.

The danger with systems like this – trainer and jockey combinations at certain courses – is that they can look great based on past statistics. However, unless those statistics are based on a large enough sample size and arise from sound logic as to why such a combination should have an advantage, then they are unlikely to continue to perform well.

My own personal view is that most of the time it is just coincidence – statistical variability will inevitably mean some jockeys and trainers have great records at one course and bad ones at another. Perhaps they have had a couple of 50/1 winners at one course that make their results look great. But is that likely to continue? And if so, why?

These are the sorts of questions you need to ask when considering betting strategies such as this.

Ease of use: Very good – bets are given out early in the morning (UK time) and can be placed either with the bookies or exchanges. There is on average 1 bet per day so very quick to place the bets.

Availability of prices: Good – there wasn’t any problem getting the bets on nor any big difference in results by using Betfair.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 18% so patience will be required to deal with losing runs.

Advised Betting Bank: A 200 point betting bank is advised, which seemed adequate, with average stakes of just over 2 points per bet. Even with the disappointing results of the trial, we were still nowhere near losing the bank – being just over 30% down overall.

Subscription costs: The subscription costs are reasonable at (a rather unusual!) £53.96 for first 90 days then £11.96 every 28 days after that.

OVERALL VERDICT: FAILED

This service claimed very good results coming into our trial at over 600 points profit bad sadly has failed to deliver those kinds of results here and with over 60 points loss this one has to go into the failed category unfortunately.
