Accumulator Generator Full Review

We have reviewed three Mike Cruickshank products so far here at Honest Betting Reviews and all have received approved ratings. So how does Accumulator Generator measure up?

Well we are pleased to say it is another excellent product from Mike.

Basically this is a system that allows you to take advantage of the bookies’ free bets on football accumulators.

Most of the bookies now have an offer such that if one leg of your acca loses, then you get your stake refunded as a free bet, up to a maximum of £50.

What Accumulator Generator does is set things up so that you can guarantee yourself a profit whatever happens from these accumulator bets.

As with most of Mike’s products, it takes a bit of time to watch all the videos, understand how it works and get used to using it.

Once you have done that though, it is pretty straightforward to use and it should take no more than 10-15 minutes per day to set up your accumulators.

The main thing you need to do is remember to lay each leg of your accumulator between matches.

Sometimes that can be the next day, but sometimes you will have matches on the same day so will need to log back into the system on the same day.

As long as you remember to do that though, you should be able to make an average of £10 per accumulator, which quickly adds up.

Doing just one acca per day would make £70 per week, or £300 per month.

Doing two per day would be £140 per week or £600 per month – and so on.

Not bad for just 15 minutes work per day is it?

So overall we are happy to give Accumulator Generator an approved rating and add it to the list of top notch recommended products from Mike Cruickshank.

Great news! You can now get a 14-day trial of Accumulator Generator for just £1 by clicking here.

Does it work?

Yes, this definitely works – the logic is sound and as ever, Mike has done all the work for you so just need to enter the amounts into the calculator and place the bets.

How does it work?

Accumulator Generator basically takes advantage of the accumulator offers provided by the bookmakers.

So for example, if you place a £25 bet on a five-fold accumulator and one leg loses, then you will get £25 refunded as a free bet. There are currently about 20 bookies offering this type of accumulator refund.

What Accumulator Generator does is to create value from these offers so as to maximise profits. As usual with Mike Cruickshank products, there are extensive and very helpful training videos, as well as a tool for finding the bets and a betting calculator.

So you have everything you need to firstly place the accumulators with the bookies and then to lay them off with the exchanges.

Here is a look at what the main “acca matcher” page looks like, where you can find the offers:

Acca Matcher Page

On the left in the red boxes are the “estimated values” of the offers – i.e. how much you can expect to make from each one. Then you have information including how long until the acca will be completed, the bookie the offer is with, the odds to back and lay and then you click on the purple box on the right to go through to the calculator to set up and place the acca.

As you can see, there are over 34 pages of offers – so a massive amount to choose from!

Here is a look at the calculator screen:

Betting Calculator Screen

The calculator basically works out at each leg how much you need to put on the next match and tells you how much you will win depending on what the overall outcome of the acca is.

Once you have got the hang of things, it really is very simple to use.

The good thing about having so many offers is that it should mean the members of the service are not all doing the same offers and therefore hopefully there shouldn’t be any red flags raised with the bookies.

What if I have two losers?

Now at first we wondered whether this system would work if you had more than one loser in your accumulator, as the bookies only give you a refund if you have one loser.

But as ever, Mike has all bases covered and sets things up in such a way that you cannot lose. Essentially once one leg of the acca loses, you are laying against the potential refund so are still “using” the free bet so to speak.

There are different ways you can play the offers:-

  1. Bet/lay and hope – basically place your acca with the bookies and lay it off with the exchanges. You are hoping one leg loses so that you get the full refund (which can be up to £50). If no legs lose or more than one does, you make a small loss.
  2. Bonuses – you lay off each section of the acca as you go along, making progressively more money the further through the acca you go before you hit a loser.
  3. Lock in a profit – you lay off each section of the acca as you go, but in such a way as that you make pretty much the same profit whatever happens. This is normally about £10 profit for a £25 or £50 bet.
  4. Advantage play – you just play the offers and accept some will lose but you should win overall as you have an edge over the bookmaker (although we are not quite sure why you need Accumulator Generator for this method!)

Of the approaches above, we definitely prefer 3 – locking in the profits and that is the one we used pretty much exclusively over the second half of the trial.

How much money can I make?

To this we would give our standard response for Mike Cruickshank products – it depends how much work you put in. As we say above, if you use the lock in profits method then you are talking about £10 per accumulator.

However, some of the better accas will bring in £12 or even £15, although on other occasions it will be just £1 or £2 if the odds on the later matches change against you.

Then it is a question of how many you can do per week. Most of the bookies have a limit on how many of the offers you can do per week or month – for most of them its once per day but some are as little as 4 times in total.

There are plenty of options available – so for the “once a day” bookies you could do the offers a few times per week. Some days there just won’t be enough matches to make it work and then a lot of the accas take 4 or 5 days to play out. But with a bit of work we would estimate you could do about 10 offers per week without too much trouble.

Are there any drawbacks to Accumulator Generator?

The main drawback is time – if you are using the bonus or profit lock-in versions, then you will have to go back in and lay each leg of the acca as it goes along, sometimes over 4 or 5 days. So firstly, you have to remember to do that! And secondly it is a little time consuming.

However, we would think if you place a lot of similar accas at the same time with different bookies, then it should help to reduce the time and chances of missing a leg, as you can do them all at once when you go to lay a leg.

The other potential drawback, as with all of Mike’s products, is of your bookie accounts being limited or shut down. As ever, the advice is to use “mug bets” and don’t overdo the offers – don’t take the p*ss basically and you should be ok!

Our feeling is also that bookies generally love punters who place lots of accumulators, so you would be at less risk of bookie account closures than with some other forms of matched betting, as long as you don’t overdo it of course.

Please note that Accumulator Generator may not work outside the UK and Ireland – please check with Mike Cruickshank via support@bonusbagging.co.uk to check the situation in your country.

OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED

Experienced matched bettors will probably be familiar with the excellent quality of Mike Cruickshank’s betting products and Accumulator Generator is no exception to this.

The software that finds the accumulators really is a great bit of kit and gives you so many potential accas to use – sometimes literally hundreds at any one time!

The main thing to be aware of is the need to lay each leg of your accas between matches – sometimes you can do that all at once and be done within 10 minutes per day, but on other occasions you will need to go back in and lay the next leg on the same day.

Other than that, we really can’t see any downsides to Accumulator Generator and strongly recommend it as part of your matched betting portfolio.

Doing just one acca per day would average you around £300 per month and two per day would average you £600 per month.

Can’t really say fairer than that now can we?!

Highly recommended.

And now you can get a 14-day trial for just £1 so you can try it our for yourself!

Accumulator Generator – Results Update

23rd January 2016

We have been testing Accumulator Generator for two months and are really getting into a groove with it now.

We are £387 in profit so far, but to be honest it could be much better than that as it has taken a little time to get to grips with it and find the best strategy.

But now we have settled on using the guaranteed profit method and are just spending 5-10 mins per day and making a nice £10 or so on each acca.

You can view full results here.

It is so easy, just go to the “reminders” page each day where all your current accas are saved and then lay the next leg, click update and you are done. Simples!

Sometimes you will need to lay more than leg per day, but you just have to set yourself a reminder to lay the next leg between matches.

The software really is fantastic in finding all the best value accas and working everything out for you.

Sadly the “Lay All” option didn’t turn out quite as good as expected as there are only a few of them worth doing each week.

But just sticking to the guaranteed profit option is the way forward for us and now we will put the peddle to the metal as it were over the last month of the trial to really crank out the profits.

Accumulator Generator really is a top notch product from Mike Cruickshank again and definitely gets a big thumbs up from us.

Accumulator Generator – Results Update

27th December 2015

We now have some results to update for Accumulator Generator and are pleased to report that it has made £254 so far after a month of testing.

You can view full results here.

We have taken the approach of guaranteeing approximately the same profits whatever the outcome rather than the variable profit approach.

Our thoughts are generally the same as stated in our previous update below – this is a very good product and certainly does “work”-  but does require quite a bit of effort to operate successfully.

And importantly you have to remember to update your acca after each leg. I forgot on one of mine – but fortunately the accumulator came in so I made a tidy profit! 🙂

But really that was a mistake and you shouldn’t allow it to happen because it defeats the purpose of the product.

I haven’t “maxed” this out as much as I could have done – you could certainly do more offers and make more money than I have over the course of a month, but you would also run the risk of the bookies limiting if you did, so I think spreading the offers around and not overdoing it is a good idea.

We will probably wrap up this review in a couple of weeks as there isn’t much to add to what we have said already and you can see from the results that you generally make around a tenner from each of the offers, so that isn’t going to change (unless the bookies change their offers of course).

UPDATE 7TH JANUARY 2016

Just a quick update to say that Mike has added a new method for placing the accas which means you can now “set and forget” – just place them and then leave them, you don’t need to go back in and lay each leg.

This is a big improvement for us and means we really are talking about a top product here.

Basically for the set and forget accas the odds for the acca overall need to be around 2.0 – 2.5 and each leg needs to be around 1.2.

You make more money the more legs that lose – if 3 legs lose you win over £100 and if all 6 lose then over £300! Ok that’s unlikely but still it is very possible that 2 legs can lose and that wins over £30 – completely risk-free.

The good news is that I have just checked the site and there are plenty of these “set and forget” accas available – over 40 at last count.

So Mike has now ironed out one of the key issues we had with the product, which was the time it was taking, so we now think it is a definite big thumbs up.

We will test out the “set and forget” accas of course and include the results in our next update on Accumulator Generator, but all looks good to us.

UPDATE 18TH JANUARY 2016

I have had a go at the “lay all” option but unfortunately it is not quite as good as I at first thought.

I tried a couple of accas, but on one of them only one leg of the acca failed to win, but I still made a loss overall.

I contacted Mike about this and it seems there are only around 3-5 per week of these “set and forget” accas that are worth doing. For the others, you won’t make a profit or will only break even.

So perhaps not quite as good as I first thought in terms of doing all your accumulators like this, but still another option that is there to choose from.

Accumulator Generator – Early Thoughts

23rd November 2015

We have had a few enquiries about Accumulator Generator and so thought we would give a quick update on what we have found so far.

We don’t have any results to report so far, as I have been getting to grips with how it works and also I didn’t have all the bookie accounts needed to take advantage of the offers. However, I can provide my thoughts on the product as a whole.

Summary of Initial Thoughts

So there you have it, our initial thoughts are that Accumulator Generator is another good product from Mike Cruickshank. It certainly works and provides you with a great suite of tools to turn the bookies’ acca offers into risk-free profit.

However, it is a little time-consuming and you have to remember to lay off each leg of the accumulator as it goes along if you want risk-free profit.

Plus there is the risk of accounts being closed or limited, although you can mitigate that risk to some extent with pre-emptive action.

We will provide details of our results in a couple of weeks hopefully now that our reviewer is set up and ready to go, which should give you a bit more of an idea of how much money you can make with this.

In the meantime, drop us a line at info@honestbettingreviews.com if you have any questions.

Accumulator Generator – New Review

31st October 2015

Accumulator Generator is the latest product from Mike Cruickshank, the king of exploiting bookies’ bonuses and free bets.

We have been very impressed with Mike’ other products we have reviewed, including Bonus Bagging which we gave an approved rating to and Profit Maximiser, which we are currently reviewing and have found to be pretty awesome so far.

So the question is whether Accumulator Generator can live up the very high bar Mike has set with his other betting products.

The system – as the name suggests – is about exploiting the accumulator offers that bookies offer.

For example, a number of bookies now offer free bets if you bet on an acca and all the legs come in apart from one. They vary in terms of how many legs you need in the accumulator – some as little as four, some five and some six or more.

But those of you who know Mike’s products will know that when there’s a bookie offer of some kind, there will also be Mike with a way to set it up as a risk-free (or virtually risk-free) opportunity.

So how does he do it here? Well we are commencing a trial to find out.

We are always interested in these angles because as any gambler knows, whilst we all like to win our bets, having a few risk-free opportunities to top up our betting accounts is very welcome.

We will report back soon on our initial findings on this one.

Each Way Sniper – Final Review

We have reached the end of our three month trial of Each-Way Sniper and here are the final results:

Profit/loss:    +£473
Strike Rate:    100%

Cost:   £47 + VAT
ROI:   6.5%
Average number of bets:    1-4 per day

Each-Way Sniper Full Review

This is the third Mike Cruickshank product we have reviewed so far here at Honest Betting Reviews after Bonus Bagging and Profit Maximiser and we are pleased to say it is now three for three in terms of approved ratings for his products.

Whilst the aforementioned products are about exploiting the bookies’ free bets and bonuses, Each-Way Sniper is a little different.

As the title suggests, it is about taking advantage of the inherent value you get from the place part of certain each-way bets with the bookies.

Basically you use that inherent value to secure a profit whatever happens by laying on Betfair.

The strategy works very well and you can certainly build a nice bit of profit using Each Way Sniper.

How does it work?

First up you go to the Each Way Sniper software, which is quite an amazing piece of kit. It automatically identifies potential each-way “snipes” where you can guarantee yourself a profit whatever happens.

Here is a look at the software in action:

Each Way Sniper Software

From the software you can see the best opportunities, the relevant bookie that has the odds for a particular selection and how much you can make from each opportunity.

Then you can click through to the calculator and input the values to work out exactly how much to put on and how much you will make.

Each Way Arbing Calculator

Then just place the bets, sit back and you are guaranteed profit, regardless of whether your horse wins or loses! Clever eh?

How much money can you make from Each Way Sniper?

The question of how much money you can make really depends on how much time you put in to it.

This is primarily for people who are able to be at their computer during the afternoon/evening when races are on so that you can access the software and make the selections. If you are able to do that, then you can potentially have a good few “snipes” each day.

How much you make on each snipe depends on your staking. We used £25 each-way stakes for the trial and were making as much as £10 on some snipes, but the average was more like £3-£4 per snipe.

We weren’t able to use the software every day due to time restrictions so you could certainly make more than the £473 we did during the trial – that would very much be the minimum you could expect to make in a 2-3 month period.

Are there any drawbacks to Each Way Sniper?

As mentioned, this is mainly for people who can monitor the software and access their bookmaker accounts whilst racing is on, to find the opportunities and place the bets.

However, you potentially could find opportunities yourself before racing starts, place your bets and be done with it and not need to monitor the software all day. This wouldn’t identify as many bets though so would limit how much you could make.

The other potential drawback is the possibility of having your bookie accounts closed or limited. In order to reduce this possibility, we would recommend not placing bets on races where there is a strong odds-on favourite.

The bookies positively hate such bets and are well aware that these are value opportunities for the punter. Once you have placed a few of them with the same bookie, you will almost certainly be on their radar and it will only be a matter of time before your account is limited.

So our advice would be to avoid these races and go for bets where the favourite is odds-against and so it isn’t such an obvious “arb.” That will keep you off the bookies’ blacklist for much longer. There will still be plenty of bets and it should not limit things much in terms of how much you can make.

OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED

Overall we feel Each Way Sniper is a great little product and well worth having as part of your matched betting portfolio.

It isn’t quite as amazing as Profit Maximiser in terms of how much money it can make you, so if you haven’t got that yet we strongly recommend you do.

But Each Way Sniper can certainly make you an extra couple of hundred of quid per month with just a little bit of effort. Most of the hard work is done for you by the software, which is a great piece of kit.

And it is certainly very satisfying taking the “snipes” and making risk-free cash off the bookies.

As long as you are able to access the software during the afternoons/evenings when racing is on and don’t make it obvious to the bookies what you are doing, then this can really add some cash to your bank on a regular basis.

Highly recommended.

Each-Way Sniper – Results Update

17th January 2016

Things have been along steadily for Each-Way Sniper since our last update about six weeks ago. We are now £340 up using £50 stakes, which is pretty good going for a no-risk system.

You can view full results here.

There are some days without any selections and then some days where you have a few.

Once you get the hang of it then it doesn’t take long to find potential races each day. Then it is just a case of viewing the markets about 20-30 minutes before the off to see if there is a qualifier.

We have just over a month to go in our trial of Each Way Sniper so will be back then with our final thoughts.

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Each-Way Sniper – Results Update

27th November 2015

We have had an interesting start to our trial of Each Way Sniper from Mike Cruickshank in that we are not quite sure how to rate this product.

On the one hand it does “work” and has made money so far. But on the other hand, we wonder how long it can last and question the amount of time that is needed to produce quite small profits.

Anyway, on with the results update.

This is basically a product that uses the additional place value you get from the bookies in certain races to make a risk-free profit.

These races are typically “top heavy” ones where you have a couple of strong favourites and then a big gap to the rest of the field.

Basically in such races, the place part of an each-way bet can often have better odds than the Betfair place odds, so if you can get instances where the win odds are about the same with a bookie and Betfair, then you can make a profit regardless of the outcome of the race. Clever eh?

Well as with most things that look to put one over on the bookies, they don’t like it.

In fact, it is fair to say that bookies positively hate bets like this and it is one of the surest ways to get your accounts shut down.

So you have to take rather significant mitigating steps to ensure that doesn’t happen – spreading your bets around, not going overboard with your stakes, using “mug bets” and so on.

If you can avoid getting your bookie accounts shut down, then what kind of money can you make from Each-Way Sniper?

Well these are our results so far.

As you can see, on a lot of the races you are making just a couple of pounds per selection, which is quite small fry really.

But then others you can make 8 or 9 quid per selection. And in some races you can back the same selection with a number of bookies, meaning you can really clean up.

There are generally just one or two races per day to play in and it does involve manually checking potential qualifying races and then checking the Betfair market and bookie prices around 20-30 mins before the start of the race.

So it does mean quite a bit of work on the part of the punter and you have to be able to access Betfair and your bookie accounts in the afternoon to make this work.

If you can do that, then there is potential to make money with this, although to be honest we think that Profit Maximiser and Profit Accumulator offer better long-term money making opportunities.

We don’t think it’s necessary to run a full three month trial here because the results don’t vary too much and you will have a pretty good idea how much you can make from a few weeks of results.

We will return with some more results and our final thoughts on Each Way Sniper soon.

Each-Way Sniper – New Review

23rd September 2015

Today we are commencing a new trial of a betting system called Each Way Sniper.

This is another product from Mike Cruickshank, who has produced a number of other betting systems, primarily based around exploiting bookie bonuses.

We are currently trialing two other of Mike’s products, Bonus Bagging and Profit Maximiser and are impressed with what we have seen from those so far.

This is a different approach however and is not based on bookie bonuses. It is based around exploiting the value of each-way betting on certain types of races.

On the sales page the system promises to make you £300 to £500 per month risk-free in just 20 minutes per day.

Sounds pretty good, that would certainly come in handy 🙂

Will this live up to the promises made on the sales page though? We will find out during our trial.

Check back here for further updates.

In the meantime you can check out Each-Way Sniper here.

Football Acca Tips – Full Review

This has been one of those trials where unfortunately pretty much everything that can go wrong does go wrong. Sometimes that happens in betting when you just hit one of those horror runs and nothing seems to go in your favour.

With the trial finishing 113 points down and losing 75% of the bank, it is difficult to give this anything other than a failed rating.

Here are the results for the trial in graph format:

Football Acca Tips Profit Graph

As you can see, it does somewhat resemble a ski slope with just a small bounce towards the end and the graph represents what was a tough trial.

However, as a lot of the tips recommended are accumulators, there was always the chance that if one of those had landed then things could have looked a whole lot better.

It’s a bit like golf betting where you can go a long time without a winner and be well down, then one winner at 100/1 completely changes the picture.

So we will keep an eye on things here and see if they can land a big winner or two and turn things around.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: The workload is quite low with bets not coming every day, but normally just when there are Premiership/FA Cup matches and Champions League matches. There is a bit of time required to find the best odds for your accumulators, but that can be made quicker via oddschecker’s bet basket feature.

Availability of prices: Good – with bets being in the Premiership and Champions League, liquidity is obviously good and there are no problems getting the advised prices.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 16%, which is obviously well below where it needs to be to make a profit.

Advised Betting Bank: The service uses a 100 point bank which resets at the start of each month (if only that would happen in real life!) but we used a 150 bank for the trial as a whole, which nearly got wiped out, decreasing by 75%.

Subscription costs: The costs are £1 per month followed by £9.99 per month.

OVERALL VERDICT: FAILED

Well it’s tough to know what to say when things go this badly. Just one of those things in betting, they have had no luck and hit one of those horror runs.

We intend to keep an eye on things to see if they can land a big winner or two to turn things around, which can easily happen when a service tips at long odds like this one does.

Football Acca Tips – Results Update

13th January 2016

It has been a miserable time for Football Acca Tips since our last update. Unfortunately they have lost a further 63 points since our last update in early December.

That means overall they are 84 points down for the trial after two months.

You can view full results here.

They do tip at big odds for some of their accas – sometimes up to 1,000/1 – so all it takes is one of those to come in and things would turn around dramatically.

We have a month to go in the trial so let’s see if they can land one of those juicy accas and end the trial in profit.

Football Acca Tips – Results Update

2nd December 2015

It’s been a tough start to our trial of Football Acca Tips, who are 21 points down after about three weeks of tips.

You can view full results here.

They have been close with a couple of their accas though, getting 3 out of 4 on two occasions, so things could have easily been better.

They also tip at some big odds – most notably they had one tip at odds of over 5000/1 – definitely the biggest price of any tipping service we have encountered so far here at HBR!

That was for Diego Costa to score first and England to win 2-1 when Spain played England. Didn’t come in obviously, as Spain ran out easy winners in the end.

Anyway, still early days for this service and not many bets to go on so far, so plenty of time to get things back on track.

Back soon more more updates.

Football Acca Tips – New Review

9th November 2015

To date here on Honest Betting Reviews we only have one football betting system that has successfully passed a three-month trial and that is Banker Bets. However, we do have five systems currently under review, so hopefully we will find another one soon.

Today we are adding another football service to that list and it focuses exclusively on accumulators. The tipster in question is called Football Acca Tips.

Bookies apparently love punters who bet on accumulators – they are often seen as the ultimate “mug punters.”

Hence in the old days before internet betting (those of you old enough to remember that!) bookies used to require a minimum of trebles if you wanted to bet on football.

Can you imagine that?! Not being able to bet on a single team – bookies thought it would be too easy for punters to win.

Well fast forward 20 years and their worries were completely unfounded – even betting just on singles, most punters would still end up losing money. Yes we really are that bad at gambling.

But it did reveal two things:-

  1. That bookies thought punters had less chance of winning when they were backing multiple selections
  2. It showed just how miserable bookies really are.

Whilst recognising the tag of “mug punting” that tends to be associated with backing accumulators, at the same time I think of some of my best gambling wins and a lot of them have been accumulators. Sometimes you just get a nice combination of things you think will happen around the same time.

For example I had a very nice one recently which included Djokovic to win the US Open, three banker Champions League matches and New Zealand to win the Rugby World Cup.

All of those sounded quite straightforward and yet I got combined odds of just under 10/1.

And of course they all came in 🙂

So it is with interest that we head into this trial of Football Acca Tips and see if they can make a profit from backing accumulators.

There don’t seem to be any results published on the website, so we will just have to see how things get on during the trial.

Please check back here for updates.

In the meantime you can check out Football Acca Tips here.

With 39 points profit made at advised prices over the 3 months at a return of investment of 10.5%, this is a service we are happy to recommend.

For once the Betfair SP actually beat the advised prices, which is very rare, notching up 45 points of profit over the trial. That is good to see and means the service is certainly a practical one to follow.

Here are the results for the trial in graph format:

Sand Bets Graph

As you can see, things got off to a flying start with a high of 80 points reached before a bit of downtrend to finish a healthy 39 points in profit.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: There are 4 bets per day on average so there is a bit of work to be done when following this tipster, but it shouldn’t take more than 10-15 minutes per day. You can of course just back the selections all at Betfair SP and be done in just a couple of minutes. Tips are sent out in the morning so there is plenty of time to get the bets on.

Availability of prices: The prices were generally freely available and we could see no problems there. As we say, the Betfair prices actually beat the advised prices which is always a good sign of price availability.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 19%, so a little bit of patience will be needed when following this service.

Advised Betting Bank: A bank of 100 points is advised, which was adequate for our trial but we note there was a drawdown of 74 points between December 2014 and February 2015, so you may want to use a slightly larger bank to be on the safe side.

Subscription costs: The subscription costs are £105 per quarter. The service would perhaps benefit from having a monthly or yearly subscription options as well.

OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED

We have said before that we think the key to making a profit in betting is specialisation and it seems to have paid off for Sand Bets with their focus on all weather racing only.

A profit of 45 points at Betfair SP is impressive and represented a 45% growth of the bank over the trial.

That builds on over 250 points profit made coming into our trial over a period of under two years.

Based on past results there could be some volatility in following this service, but as long as you are prepared for this and have a decent sized bank and some patience, then you should benefit in the long run.

Overall it’s a nice simple service to follow and we are happy to give Sand Bets a recommended rating as one to have as part of your portfolio.

Sand Bets – Results Update

5th January 2016

Things have continued in a positive fashion for Sand Bets, who have added a further 35 points profit at advised prices and 32 points profit at Betfair SP.

They now stand at +46 points at advised prices and +52 points at Betfair SP after two months of the trial.

You can view full results here.

Good to see a service where the Betfair SP is beating the advised prices, you don’t see that very often.

The bet volume has really increased over the last month – probably owing to the increase in the amount of all-weather racing on offer. Just as well there has been lots of all-weather racing given the weather we have had here in the UK!

Anyway, let’s see if Sand Bets can continue the good form over the last month of the trial.

Sand Bets – Results Update

26th November 2015

It  has been a good start to our trial of Sand Bets, who are  11 points up at advised prices and 20 points up at Betfair SP.

You can view full results here.

Nice to see a service that is doing better at Betfair SP than advised prices, very rarely see that. Will be interesting to see if that holds for the remainder of the trial.

This is quite a high volume service, with approximately 4 bets per day. Tips are generally sent out early in the morning though, so there is plenty of time to get the bets on.

So a nice start to the trial for Sand Bets, let’s hope things continue in the same vein.

Back soon with more results updates.

Sand Bets – New Review

7th November 2015

We recently started our first trial of an all-weather specialist horse racing service in the form of All Weather Profits and today we are following up with our second, with a trial of a service called Sand Bets.

This is a blog service that offers a number of tips per day to subscribers. They advise bets to Best Odds Guaranteed bookies, where at least two bookies are offering the price quoted.

The results on the website look pretty good, with about 250 points profit made since the service started at the beginning of 2014.

However, whilst 2014 was very impressive, with nearly 300 points profit made, things have not been quite so good in 2015.

Still, with the flat season closing this weekend and the all-weather season getting into full swing, there should be plenty of action to get things going for them.

We will run our normal 3 month trial of this one and see how they get on.

In the meantime you can check out Sand Bets here.

Layer of Profit Full Review

Sadly we have hit a bit of a theme lately.

It started when a service we had just started reviewing a few weeks ago, Racing Bulletin, went offline and stopped providing tips after just a few days – no explanation, just gone.

Then Half Time Hero, a football betting system we had been reviewing for a couple of months, abruptly stopped sending tips and shut the service with no warning or explanation.

Well, they say these things come in threes and now we have the same situation with Layer of Profit.

We had been following the tips for over two months when suddenly we just stopped receiving any more selections after 14th January.

Wondering what was going on, we sent them a couple of e-mails to ask if the service was being discontinued, but have received no response to date.

As we said in our final review of Half Time Hero, it is one thing if they decide to discontinue the service, but it is disappointing not to be notified of what is going on.

Plus if we hadn’t noticed and cancelled our subscription, then we would have gone on paying the monthly subscription fees.

Anyway, the service had been performing fairly disastrously during our trial and was heading for a failed rating anyway, having lost 50% of the bank by the time we stopped receiving the selections.

That is probably why they stopped – we imagine the poor run meant they had hardly any subscribers left.

That is something we are noticing in the tipping game – if you have a bad run, the punters don’t tend to stick around long to give you a chance to turn things around.

It really is a win or bust industry. With hundreds of tipsters out there, if you don’t make a decent profit consistently then people are going to leave and jump onto the next thing that comes along.

So unfortunately its a failed rating for the first laying service we have reviewed here at Honest Betting Reviews.

Onto the next system and let’s hope whatever it is, it manages to complete a three month trial…

Layer of Profit – Results Update

2nd January 2016

A quiet time for Layer of Profit in more ways than one since our last update in November. On the one hand, they have rather trod water since our last update, with just 0.6 points lost since then, leaving them 11.6 points down overall.

You can view full results here.

On the other hand, it has also been quiet because there have been very few tips. They have quite a few days without tips and are having the entire period from 19th December to 4th January off on holiday.

So even though we have been following this service for two months, we actually don’t have many results to go on.

Hopefully the volume and results will pick up in January for Layer of Profit and we will have more positive news to report in our next update.

Layer of Profit – Results Update

22nd November 2015

It has been a poor start to our trial of Layer of Profit, the first laying service we have reviewed here at Honest Betting Reviews.

They are 11 points down so far, which is quite a lot for a laying service that lays at odds of 4.0. Out of 10 bets that have run so far, five have lost.

You can view full results here.

In fact, you would have done quite well backing all their selections at Betfair SP – 18 points in profit in fact.

Still, it is early days as we have only had about three weeks so far, so plenty of time to turn things around.

Back soon with more updates.

Layer of Profit – New Review

4th November 2015

It is another first here for us at Honest Betting Reviews. After recently starting our first trial of a greyhound tipster, today we are starting our first trial of a lay betting system.

There is something very appealing about laying horses. Instinctively it feels like it must be easier to pick horses to lose – ones that are out of form, have conditions against them, are trying to do something they’ve never done before or are simply outclassed.

All you need is for one of the other horses to cross the line ahead of yours and you’ve made a profit.

Sadly those of us who have tried laying have found it’s not quite as easy as it sounds. You can have a few successful lays and feel very good about things, then one big priced lay comes home and wipes out all your hard work.

It does require a very specialist approach and there are few tipsters out there who make a profit from lay betting.

Fortunately we have found one out there who does appear quite promising though and that is Layer of Profit, which is a long-standing laying system that sends out just one lay a day.

They lay at maximum odds of 4.0 on Betfair, so no crazy laying of massive-priced outsiders which risk wiping out the bank in one go.

Results over the last five months or so look good, with over 50 points profit made and a solid profit each month.

They have been around for a few years, which is normally a good sign of long-term success and we understand they have quite a few happy members who have been with them for over 3 years.

So without further ado, we will commence our trial of Layer of Profit and will update results here throughout the trial.

In the meantime you can check out Layer of Profit here.

Half Time Hero – Final Review

We have reached the end of our three month trial of Half Time Hero and here are the final results:

Profit/loss:    -83.25 points
Strike Rate:   43%
Bank Growth:    -28%
Cost:   £19.99 per month
ROI:   -11%
Average number of tips:    1 per day
VERDICT:   FAILED

Half Time Hero Full Review

Well this has truly been a case of “hero to zero.”

We started off the trial with high hopes for Half Time Hero as it appeared to have come up with a novel way of approaching betting on football matches.

Taking a niche approach to betting, particularly on football, is in our opinion the key to making long-term profits.

That is exactly what Half Time Hero did, by only betting in the first half goals market – i.e. for there to be at least one goal in the first half of selected matches.

And with promising results published on their website prior to our trial, we thought they might be onto something.

Well sadly things didn’t match our expectations at all.

We were sitting on -83 points for the trial when the service was abruptly stopped.

There was no e-mail saying selections would be stopping nor any explanation – we just stopped receiving selections on 18th January. We e-mailed to ask what was happening and received no response.

So then we took to going on their website and whilst there is no message on the website about the service being terminated, when you click on the subscribe button it says the service is no longer available.

What annoys us about this though is that they didn’t have the courtesy to inform us the service was finishing or provide us with an explanation.

So if we weren’t being watchful, we quite easily could have gone on paying the monthly subscription.

Fortunately we cancelled just in time before being billed again.

So all in all we are left disappointed and can only give this a FAILED rating. The results for the trial were very disappointing and it didn’t appear that they had uncovered an edge – or at least didn’t do so during our trial.

And their failure to inform us of what was happening or to respond to our e-mails adds to the disappointment here.

So its on to the next system for us and one to forget about here…

Half Time Hero – Results Update

3rd January 2016

It has continued to be a struggle for Half Time Hero since our last update just over a month ago. They have dropped a further 50 points to sit at -77 points overall for the trial.

You can view full results here.

We had high hopes for this service heading into the trial, so it has been disappointing so far after two months of the trial.

It seems that backing over 0.5 goals in the first half is not as simple as it seems. Lots of the results so far have been “pushes” – where there is a goal in the first few minutes before the bet can be matched.

And of the others where the bets have been matched, too many have failed to produce a goal.

Anyway, hopefully they can pick things up and deliver some profits in the final month of the trial.

We will return in February with our final review for Half Time Hero.

Half Time Hero – Results Update

25th November 2015

Unfortunately it has been a slow start to our trial of Half Time Hero. So far after three weeks they are 28 points down.

You can view full results here.

This is a service that bets on there being at least one goal in the first half of selected matches. However, they bet at odds of 1.5 on every bet, so on most occasions you have to wait up until 10 minutes for the bets to get matched.

Hence quite a few bets are void as goals are scored in the first ten minutes before your bets get matched.

We did have quite high hopes for this service, so let’s hope results pick up a bit from here.

Back soon with more updates.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Half Time Hero – New Review

6th November 2015

Today we are commencing a review of a new football betting system called Half Time Hero.

As the title suggests, it focuses on bets just in the first half of matches – so that if they win, I suppose you could say you are a “half time hero” – and don’t need to worry about the rest of the match.

Specifically, they bet solely on there being a goal in the first half of a match. So you can do this either by backing over 0.5 first half goals or laying the HT 0-0 scoreline. It shouldn’t make much of a difference which you do, as they are both liquid markets and are effectively the same thing.

An interesting twist to the service though is that they only bet at odds of 1.5 (on the over 1.5 first half goals market) – which as you can imagine, means the bet will generally only be matched in-running.

So there is the possibility that a goal will be scored before your bet is matched, meaning a void bet, but Brian who runs the service says not to worry as there will be plenty more games to bet on.

He also says most bets will be matched within the first 10 minutes, so we will see if that is reflected in the results during our trial.

The results published on the website look impressive, with over 17 points of profit since the service started in August of this year. That is very impressive for a football service backing at such low odds and equates to over 5 points profit per month so far.

There are three possible staking plans suggested:

1. Level staking using a 30 point bank – simply backing each selection for 1 point.. simple enough!

2. Perecentage bank staking – Increase your stake as your bank increase by percentage value.

3. Double or nothing! This is not quite as it sounds – it means taking your winnings from the previous bet and rolling them on to the next one. So it is high risk but Brian illustrates with an example how it can quickly escalate if you have 5 winners or so in a row.

We will use level staking for the trial however, as that is what we use for every other trial to ensure a level playing field between the services we review.

Encouragingly, you are promised that if you fail to make a profit from the selections in any given month, you will be refunded the subscription costs of £19.99. Can’t say fairer than that really!

We have to say we are quite intrigued by this service, it appears to be a beautifully simple approach but could well be profitable with the correct research done.

Anyway, as ever only time will tell. Check back here for updates on how things go during the trial.

In the meantime you can check out Half Time Hero here.

The Racing King – Final Review

We have completed our three month trial of the The Racing King and here are the final results:

Profit/loss:    -3 points
Strike Rate:    28%
Bank Growth:    -3%
Cost:   First 14 days for £5 then £25/month or £60/quarter
ROI:    -1%
Average number of tips:    2 per day
VERDICT:    NEUTRAL
Rating:

You can view full results here.

The Racing King Full Review

We seem to have a bit of a theme at the moment – neutral reviews.

We have another one here with the Racing King (formerly the Each Way King). This one is at least a bit more straightforward than the previous two which fell slightly between two stools and were difficult to grade.

But this has ended up just 3 points down after three months so there seems no other fair verdict than a neutral rating.

Things got off to a promising start as they went over 30 points up early on, but sadly those early gains were given away in a steady trend downwards, as you can see below:

Each Way King Profit Graph

It’s a nice easy service to follow with just two bets per day and betting each way means you have a higher strike rate so the losing runs are shorter.

For the time being though, this is one to watch and to see if results pick up over the longer term.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: There are just 2 bets per day on average and workload is minimal with this service – should only take a few minutes each day to place the bets.

Availability of prices: There was no issue with the availability of prices, although there was a small difference between the advised prices and Betfair SP (14 points over the course of the trial) so it may be best to take early prices to make the most of the service.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 28%, which is just very slightly below the long-term average of 29.5%.

Advised Betting Bank: No bank was advised when we signed up so we used a 100 point bank, which was more than comfortable for the trial.

Subscription costs: The subscription costs are £5 first 14 days then £25/month or £60/quarter.

OVERALL VERDICT: NEUTRAL

It has been one of those slightly quiet trials for the Racing King where not a great deal has happened to be honest.

Fortunes have fluctuated a little bit during the trial but in the end they finished 3 points down, so very close to breaking even.

It’s a nice easy service to follow and betting each way gives you shorter losing runs, which is always appreciated.

So after just about breaking even, the only reasonable verdict seems to be a neutral rating. We will keep an eye on the Racing King for a while and see where the service ends up going.

You can check out the Racing King here.

*Please note this service was previously called the Each Way King and was part of the Betting Gods network.

Each Way King – Results Update

24th January 2016

It’s been a case of treading water really for the Each Way King since our last update, with just one point lost at advised prices and 4 points lost at Betfair SP.

That means for the trial overall they are 1 point up at advised prices and 12 points down at Betfair SP.

You can view full results here.

With just a couple of weeks left in the trial it will be interesting to see if they can push on and finish in profit.

Back with our final review soon.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Each Way King – Results Update

28th December 2015

There has been something of a reversal for the Each Way King since our last update just over a month ago.

They have dropped 25 points at advised prices and 26 points at Betfair SP over the last month.

That means they are just 2 points in profit at advised prices and 8 points down at Betfair SP for the trial as a whole.

You can view full results here.

Hopefully there will be an upturn for them as we head into the New Year. Back soon with more updates.

Each Way King – Results Update

21st November 2015

It has been a good start to our trial of Each Way King, who are 27 points up at advised prices and 18 points up at Betfair SP after three weeks of results.

You can view full results here.

This is a fairly easy service to follow, with just a couple of bets per day.

We are noting a bit of a gap opening up already between advised prices and Betfair SP though, so this will be something to keep an eye on.

Anyway, a good start to the trial and let’s hope they continue in the same vein.

Each Way King – New Review

2nd November 2015

It would be fair to say that most tipsters like to bet “on the nose” as it were. It is about picking winners they would say. To be fair there is a certain attraction about the simplicity of that approach.

However, on the other side you have those who would argue that backing each-way allows you to profit when your horses run well but don’t quite get the job done, whether it be due to bad luck, ill-suiting conditions or just not quite being good enough on the day.

Another advantage to backing each-way is that it enables you to build a bank more steadily, with a higher strike rate and shorter losing runs.

Anyway, whichever approach you prefer, sitting squarely on the latter side of the argument is a new service we are trialing, Each Way King from the Betting Gods stable.

Well so far the each-way style certainly seems to be working for them, with over 170 points profit accumulated since the service started in June.

That has been achieved with a 30% strike rate and 35% return on investment, which is excellent going.

Staking is nice and simple at between 0.5 and 1 points each way on each selection, so no crazy staking system to inflate results.

There are generally around 2 bets per day, so it should be fairly manageable in terms of workload.

We will run our normal three month trial and see if this can deliver us some royal profits.

In the meantime, you can check out Each Way King here.

All Weather Profits – Final Review

We have reached the end of our three month trial of All Weather Profits and here are the final results:

All Weather Profits – Full Review

Well after three months and 278 bets our trial of All Weather Profits has come to an end. Overall it has managed a profit of 26 points to 2 point level stakes.

The service is a simple horse racing tipster that bets only on the all-weather (as you may have guessed from the name).

Bets are sent out each morning and are simply backed at Betfair SP.

The trial got off to a tough start, dipping down to -56 points at one stage but recovered nicely to finish in profit, as you can see from the graph below:

All Weather Profits Graph

This is a difficult one to give a verdict on as it has made a profit over the trial and in some ways we were close to giving this a passed rating.

However, on balance we feel that a bank growth of 18% over three months isn’t quite enough to merit an approved rating.

To one point level stakes the profit would be 13 points, which is a bit below what would be required to give a resounding thumbs up.

Remember we have services like Master Racing Tipster and Racing Gold that have achieved well over 100% bank growth over their respective trials.

Ultimately the question we ask when considering a recommending rating is “would you recommend this to a friend?”

Certainly we wouldn’t warn a friend off this but we wouldn’t go rushing to them imploring them to sign up either.

You may well want to give this a go and add it to your portfolio, but for us in the end it is a neutral rating, just below a pass.

There is a lot to like about the service – all tips are simply backed at Betfair SP, which makes it easy to follow and you know you can at least match the published results, if not beat them. Plus the subscription costs are low at under £15 per month, with the first month for just £3.79.

So perhaps worth giving a go, bearing in mind the long term results of over 500 points profit in two years of tipping.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: The bets are sent out by e-mail each morning and with an average of 3 tips per day, the workload is very manageable. Nice and simple to follow.

Availability of prices: With all selections advised at Betfair SP, you are guaranteed at least matching the advised prices and if you wanted to shop around, no doubt you could do a little better.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 19%, so a little bit of patience will be required with this service.

Advised Betting Bank: The advised bank was 150 points, which was plenty and never in threat during the trial, with the low point being 56 points down.

Subscription costs: The subscription costs are very reasonable at just £3.79 for first month then £14.95/month, £29.95/quarter or £119.95 for lifetime.

OVERALL VERDICT: NEUTRAL

It’s been a solid performance by All Weather Profits over the course of our trial and any service that finishes in profit after 3 months should be commended.

We were close to giving this a recommended rating, but just felt in the end that 18% growth of the bank over three months wasn’t quite enough.

However, we are mindful that the previous results published on the Tipster Street show over 500 points profit, so it is one we will keep an eye on and see how things progress going forward.

All Weather Profits – Results Update

26th December 2015

It’s been a good turnaround for All Weather Profits, who have banked 83 points profit since our last update just over a month ago.

That is largely down to an impressive 33/1 winner at Kempton on 25th November, which at their standard 2 point stakes netted a whopping 73 points profit.

They now stand at +44 points for the trial overall, which is good stuff.

You can view full results here.

As we mentioned previously, they use 2 point staking for all their selections, so at 1 point level stakes this would be 22 points up so far.

Anyway, good to see the positive progress being made and let’s hope it continues. We will be back soon with more updates.

All Weather Profits – Results Update

20th November 2015

It has been a tough start to our trial of All Weather Profits, who are 39 points down after a month of results.

You can view full results here.

All bets are 2 point win bets, which is a bit strange because it essentially just means you are doubling everything – whether good or bad. In this case it has been bad, as they would be just 19 points down to 1 point level stakes.

Anyway, all results are recorded to Betfair SP which makes following the service easy and we know we can match the published results.

The all-weather season is only just getting going so hopefully we will see their results pick up in the coming weeks as the form becomes a bit more established.

Check back here for updates on how things go.

All Weather Profits – New Review

22nd October 2015

As the evenings start to close in and the air turns rather chilly, thoughts in the flat horse racing world turn to the fibresand and polytrack.

What are we talking about you may ask? All weather racing of course.

Yes that gift from our American cousins – racing on dirt – comes in very handy when the weather turns foul and many national hunt meetings are cancelled or run on swamp-like ground.

All weather racing is steadily growing in popularity in the UK and Ireland, with more race meetings, new courses like Chelmsford opening – or at least reopening – greater prize funds and higher quality of horses running.

Certainly with the likes of Godolphin lavishing vast sums of money on their all-weather operation, it appears that racing on dirt is here to stay and will just grow and grow. At least it allows us flat racing fans to continue our betting habit throughout the Winter anyway.

So with the all-weather season about to get into full swing, it is with much relish that we start a trial of an all-weather specialist horse racing tipster.

All Weather Profits

Enter stage right All Weather Profits, a service from the Tipster Street stables with an impressive record of nearly 500 points profit since the service started in January 2014, which works out at 23 points per month.

That has been earned with an impressive 17% return on investment and a solid strike rate of 22%.

There are approximately two bets per day, so it should be reasonably straightforward to follow.

Subscription costs are very reasonable at £3.79 for the first month then £14.95 per month or £29.95 per quarter.

We will run our usual three month trial for this one which will give us a nice chunk of the all-weather season to enjoy.

Check back here for updates.

In the meantime you can can view All Weather Profits here.

Daily Nap Full Review

Oh dear! Poor old Daily Nap. One minute you are moving along steadily providing your daily tips and then suddenly – whoosh! You are gone.

Sadly the Daily Nap is no longer available on the Betting Gods website and has been pulled from service, so making this review somewhat redundant. The tips are still available to current subscribers but not to new ones.

It seems like it really is law of the jungle out there in tipping – you either need to hit the big time quickly or you are squashed.

We feel a bit sorry for this one, it wasn’t like they were doing terribly, just a 15 point loss so far.

But there doesn’t seem to be much doing an in-depth review here other than to say there were things to like about this service, including all the results being recorded at Betfair SP and with just one tip per day, it was super-easy to follow.

Things started off promisingly but we have sadly finished the trial in deficit, with 14 losers from the last 15 bets rather putting the kibosh on things.

Oh well, there you are! I suppose if things improve and this service is re-offered to the public we may update this review. Otherwise it is adios to the Daily Nap – we are off for a siesta…

Whilst we would normally be concluding the trial at this point after 3 months, we are yet to hit the minimum 100 bet mark so will run the trial for another month.

So back in a month’s time with our final thoughts on the Daily Nap.

Daily Nap – Results Update

19th November 2015

Still fairly quiet times for the Daily Nap since our last update three weeks ago – so quiet in fact that maybe they have been having a nap themselves!

No we joke of course, they have still been supplying tips everyday but it has been quiet in terms of the results with just 3 points gained since our last update.

That leaves them 2 points down overall after two months of the trial.

You can view full results here.

So no disaster but more work to be done to get things moving into the black.

Back soon with further updates.

Daily Nap – Results Update

28th October 2015

Things have remained fairly quiet for the Daily Nap, with just over one point lost since our last update three weeks ago.

That means in total they are 5 points down in total.

You can view full results here.

Let’s see if they can pick up the pace a bit during the remainder of the trial – otherwise we may have to go off for a little nap ourselves…

Daily Nap – Results Update

7th October 2015

Now despite what you may be thinking, the Daily Nap isn’t something devoted to describing those late-afternoon snoozes we all think about taking at work when we’ve had a long day – it is in fact a horse racing tipster who provides one selection per day – their “nap.”

The service started tipping in March and has managed a very good strike rate of 44% since then.

We started our trial on 20th September, so how have things been going?

Well, overall they are slightly down, standing at -3.69 points so far.

You can view full results here.

But what is interesting is that it has been something of a mini-roller coaster so far. They started with 7 losers in a row, which was obviously a tough start.

Then they hit 5 winners in a row – great stuff!

That was followed by four losers, until we had a winner yesterday. Hopefully that’s the start of another winning run.

The nice thing about this service is that all selections are simply backed at Betfair SP and with only one bet day, it is super-easy to follow.

We’ll return soon with more updates on whether the roller coaster ride continues!

Daily Nap – New Review

20th September 2015

There is something quite appealing about tipsters that provide just one tip per day.

For starters, it means minimal time on the part of the punter to get the bets on.

Secondly, it makes you feel like the one tip is the very strongest bet of the day and must have a lot going for it.

On the other hand, one could argue that there shouldn’t be a pre-set number of tips, whether it be one, two, or any other number and the tipster should just tip as many horses as they believe will win on a given day.

The results of the Daily Nap tipping service so far suggest the former argument wins out over the latter, as they have amassed a very impressive 48 points profit to one point level stakes at a return on investment (ROI) of 26.17% in 4 months.

That is at a high strike rate as well at 44%, which is always good to see. Even more encouraging is that those results are to Betfair SP, so no fantasy prices that are unobtainable.

As usual, we will conduct a three month trial of this service and see if it can live up to its previous results under test conditions.

We will provide regular updates on its progress during the trial, but in the meantime you can check out the Daily Nap here.

iWinSoccerBets – Full Review

Following fast on the heels of our final review of the Football Tipster we have iWinSoccerBets which has just finished its three month trial here at Honest Betting Reviews.

Our comments for both services are quite similar, in that they both finished in a loss for the trial but the losses were small so it was not a disaster.

In the case of iWinSoccerBets, the loss was -8 points, which represented a 16% loss of the bank.

Here is how the trial went in graph format:

iWinSoccerBets Profit Graph

It was quite a steady decline until a bit of a rally late on.

In general it does seem it’s much tougher to make a profit betting on football than on horse racing.

So far we have only passed one football betting system or tipster (Banker Bets) and that service tips not only on football but also covers tennis and has the odd bet in US Sports.

Compare that to eight horse racing tipsters we have approved and you will get a sense of what we are talking about.

Football is just damn hard to make money out of. Yet it is the most gambled on sport in the world. The bookies must love it!

We get the feeling for a service to make money on football in the long run it has to come up with something genuinely different.

Banker Bets does it with betting at very short odds and identifying value in those selections, which is unusual and not something we had seen before from a football tipster.

But it’s hard to make money just betting on win selections each week unless you can find a clear edge.

We didn’t really see it here with iWinSoccerBets or with the Football Tipster. That’s not to say it can’t be done, but in our view it’s a tough ask.

So the wait for a winning football-only tipster goes on…

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: The bets are sent out by e-mail which is good and there are around 11 bets per week, so the workload is very manageable.

Availability of prices: Most of the selections are in the main European and English leagues, so there is no problem with the availability of prices.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 53%, which is fairly solid. To make a profit it would probably need to be closer to 60% though.

Advised Betting Bank: There wasn’t a specific betting bank advised but we used a 50 point bank for the trial, which was more than comfortable.

Subscription costs: The subscription costs are a little on the high side – particularly based on the results so far – at £29 for 14 days or £49 per month. There are free tips available though.

OVERALL VERDICT: NEUTRAL

Well it’s another football service finishing in a loss and we are seeing something of a pattern here.

The loss for iWinSoccerBets was 8 points, which was disappointing over the course of three months. There have certainly been some strange results lately in the Premier League which may account for some of the difficulties encountered.

So although this not delivered the hoped-for profits, it is not quite bad enough for us to give it a fail either. A 16% loss of the bank is no disaster.

Perhaps one to keep an eye on as it is a relative newcomer and results may pick up as they get themselves established.

The good thing is you can join for free and test them out for a while before deciding whether to go to the paid tips, which may be the best option here at the moment.

iWinSoccerBets – Results Update

15th December 2016

It has been a tricky run for iWinSoccerBets since our last update just over a month ago. They have dropped 14 points to sit at -12 points now after two months.

You can view full results here.

As we have said elsewhere, it has been a tough time for football tipsters lately with a spate of strange results.

Still time left for iWinSoccerBets to turn it round though and finish the trial in profit.

Back soon with more updates.

iWinSoccerBets – Results Update

7th November 2015

It has been a slow but steady start for iWinSoccerBets to their trial, with 2.46 points accumulated after a month of tipping.

You can view full results here.

It is always harder to make big profits on football than on horse racing as you are betting at much lower odds, so 2.65 points isn’t too bad. We think any service that can manage 5 points per month betting on football to 1 point level stakes is doing very well.

They have had a couple of nice winners at tasty odds, including Liverpool to beat Chelsea at 4.22 and Stoke to beat Swansea at 3.96.

The good thing is that tips are pretty much all in the big leagues, so there is no problem getting the advised odds or getting the bets on.

So a solid start for iWinSoccerBets – let’s hope things continue in positive fashion.

Back soon with more updates.

iWinSoccerBets – New Review

2nd October 2015

Following on from our recent article about who is the best football tipster, today we are commencing another trial of a football tipster.

Our quest here at Honest Betting Reviews is to find the very best football tipsters. So we are always on the look out for new talent and we may have found something promising in the form of iWinSoccerBets.

This is a relatively new football tipping service that operates both free tips and “VIP” paid tips.

They tip across leagues from around the world and whilst focusing mainly on the match odds market, also tip in markets such as both teams to score and over/under markets.

They use historical and statistical modelling to come up with the selections and you are provided with the historical data behind the tips, which is always reassuring. You do sometimes wonder with some tipping services where there is no reasoning behind the tip whether they are just plucking the selections out of thin air!

We will undertake our normal three month review and see how this one gets on. With the footy season in full swing it’s a good time to get involved with football betting as there is a good bank of results now to go on.

You can check back here soon for results updates, but in the meantime if you want to view iWonSoccerBets, you can click here.
