Strategy Betting Tips – Review Update

We completed our final review of Strategy Betting Tips back in April and gave them a neutral rating after we were not in a position to back all their tips.

We felt it would be worth updating the results as things have improved quite a bit since our review ended.

In April they managed a strike rate of 76%, with approximately 66 points profit and in May they managed a 75% strike rate and approximately 60 points profit.

Those are the results for all the tips and as we said during our review, it would be tough to back all the tips as they are in-play bets that need to be backed straight away, so chances are you will miss some due to not being able to access your phone at some points (in a work meeting, in the bath, on the underground etc).

The results quoted are also based on achieving average odds of 1.85 for April and 1.8 for May. The odds you get for each selection will depend on when you place the bet and how far progressed the match is, so will be variable.

Anyway, the up-to-date results are a considerable improvement on the results during our review and are worthy of noting.

We had also commented in our original review about their customer service being somewhat lacking but it appears a couple of our e-mails may not have reached them and got lost in the ether somewhere, so that may not have been their fault. Overall they pride themselves on good customer service so we are prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt on that one.

In view of the improved results we are prepared to upgrade Strategy Betting Tips to a PASSED rating.

That assessment comes with the same caveats as during our main review though – you will need access to Bet 365 as most of the bets will be with them and you will need to be extremely watchful about pausing your tips at times when you are not able to place the bets, as otherwise you will be charged for winning tips even if weren’t able to place them.

As long as you are comfortable with those things though, it is looking like Strategy Betting Tips could be a winning service and is one we will be keeping an eye on.

Strategy Betting Tips – Full Review

Strategy Betting Tips (or SBT for short) is a football betting system that provides in-play selections for matches via the messenger app Telegram.

Most of these selections come in the “one more goal before half-time market,” often when there have already been three goals in the first 15-20 minutes of a game.

So once you receive the tip, which will come through via an alert on your phone, you have to place the bet quickly before another goal is scored.

It is quite an innovative approach to betting and we haven’t come across something like this before. Probably the closest thing is In-Play Trading, but that doesn’t provide bets via a phone app like Strategy Betting Tips.

Anyway, on to the important bit – how did it get on during our live trial?

Well, the good news is that it finished in profit, with a total of 5 points profit made overall.

Whilst a profit was made however, we had some major concerns about the practicality of using the service.

Firstly, there is the fact that tips can arrive at any time of day or night. If you know you are going to be unable to access your mobile phone for a period (e.g. when you are driving, on the Tube, in a work meeting etc), then you can pause your tips so you don’t use up any credits (it operates on a pay-per-winning tip model).

But you still have to remember to do this and then there are times when you don’t anticipate that you won’t be able to place the bets, so inevitably you will miss a few. And when you are paying €5 per winning tip, that can be quite frustrating.

The second concern we have is over the lack of options in terms of placing the bets. A lot of the best come in very obscure leagues – Algerian Women’s football, Israeli U19, the Macedonian league for example – and in the quite specialist market of one more goal before half-time. Even Betfair don’t cover a lot of these matches so we found ourselves using Bet365 for the vast majority of bets.

That was fine for us, but for people who don’t have access to Bet365 it is obviously a problem. There is also the risk that if the system does really well, Bet365 will see the pattern of bets and start restricting accounts of people who follow SBT’s bets.

Then there is the question of what odds to take. In the manual you receive when signing up, SBT say you shouldn’t take any bets below 1.75. However, lots of the odds are below that level when you receive the tip, so you effectively have to wait until they reach that level before placing your bet. But a goal may be scored in the meantime and you didn’t get to place the bet.

To be fair to SBT, they often don’t charge for tips where a goal is scored very quickly, but we did have instances where there was a goal scored whilst the odds were still below 1.7, so the €5 charge for the tip would still be incurred.

Overall that gets us to our biggest concern about SBT and that is the pay-per-win subscription model. If you paid just a weekly or monthly subscription a lot of these concerns wouldn’t be such an issue.

But if you are paying €5 per tip, then during our trial there were 110 winning tips, meaning you would have had to pay €550 in fees, but only made 5 points profit. So you would need to be betting at over €100 per point to make it worthwhile, which we recognise most people won’t be able to do.

Added to that was the fact that they stopped responding to our e-mails over the last couple of months and you have a bit of a disappointing service overall.*

OVERALL VERDICT: NEUTRAL

Whilst Strategy Betting Tips made a small profit during our three month trial, we have major concerns about the set up of the service.

We are not sure that the current set up is practical for most people to follow and even if the tips make a profit overall, you may well end up having made a loss from missed tips and the pay-per-winning tip subscription model.

Coupled with the limited options for placing the bets and a lack of customer service, we feel this is not a service we can recommend at the moment.

If they change the subscription model and make it more practical to follow (perhaps with a bot), we could consider revisiting our review, but for the time being it’s a NEUTRAL rating for Strategy Betting Tips from us.

* We note that they did not receive a couple of e-mails from us but it appears these may have got lost in the ether so this may not have been their fault and in general they aim to deliver good customer service.

Strategy Betting Tips – Results Update

19th January 2018

Steady progress has been the name of the game for Strategy Betting Tips so far, which has made another 4 points profit since our last update a month ago.

That means we are now 10 points up for the trial overall.

You can view full results here.

Just to recap, you need to install an app called Telegram to receive the tips and then it is important to switch off the notifications when you don’t have access to your phone because you are paying for the number of active tips you receive.

To be fair to the team at Strategy Betting Tips, they refunded all members’ credits for December as the performance was a bit below their long term average of a 70% strike rate, which was good of them.

Overall though performance has been pretty decent so this is looking like one to keep an eye on.

Strategy Betting Tips – Results Update

20th December 2017

It’s been a positive start to our trial of Strategy Betting Tips, an innovative new approach to betting on football matches in-running.

After one month of following the tips we are 6 points in profit, which is pretty good.

You can view full results here.

This is a little different to most services we have tested here at Honest Betting Reviews.

Firstly, you can only receive the tips via a mobile app called Telegram.

You then need to react quickly to get your bets on once you have received the tips, as most of them are for there to be one more goal in the first half, so if you’re slow then there may have already been a goal.

Although to be fair if a goal is scored very quickly, they often don’t deduct any credits from you (as it is pay-as-you-win), so that is reasonable of them.

Most of the tips are in obscure leagues, like Algerian Women’s football or Israeli U19. Can’t say I am too familiar with some of the teams, even being a football fanatic myself!

I have been using Bet365 to place all the bets, as they always seem to have the matches and leagues tipped in.

From our research it doesn’t look like Betfair will work for following the service as they often don’t have the relevant markets for the matches, or sometimes not even the matches themselves.

The good thing about the service is that if you know you are going to be unable to access your mobile phone for a period (e.g. when you are driving, on the Tube, in a work meeting etc), then you can pause your tips so you don’t use up any credits.

All in all it has taken a little getting used to this but once you have got the hang of it it’s actually quite straightforward and results have been profitable so far, which is good to see. Let’s hope that continues.

You can check out Strategy Betting Tips here.

Strategy Betting Tips – New Review

20th November 2017

We have something new for you today in the football betting world that looks quite interesting.

The system in question is called Strategy Betting Tips – or SBT for short – and it is based on betting on live in-running football matches.

The selections apparently come from complex software which collects data from thousands of live football matches across the world, which is then processed by sophisticated algorithms in real time.

When any of this data matches SBT’s pre-set criteria, their software will send a tip to your smartphone.

They claim to have achieved an average win rate of over 70% month after month and the results published on the website look very impressive. Staking £50 per tip you would have made over £2,000 profit per month on average since January 2017.

It is quite a high volume service, with an average of over 100 tips per month and some months they even have 200 tips.

To receive the tips, you will need to download the Telegram messenger app and then you receive alerts through that app when there is a bet to be placed.

The pricing of the service is different to most tipsters and systems, with it being a kind of pay-as-you-win model.

Basically if you sign up for one of their €50 packages for example, you will get 50 credits. Each winning tip costs 5 credits, so effectively you are getting 10 winning tips for €50. Losing tips don’t cost anything.

Plus if you go for one of the larger packages then you get some bonus tips as well.

So their interests are very much aligned with yours – if their tips don’t win then they aren’t making money.

That all sounds good in theory and certainly they look like a very professional outfit. As ever though, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating and we will be interested to see if they can reproduce the results published on the website under the spotlight of a live trial.

We will aim to run a standard three month trial of Strategy Betting Tips and will update results here during the trial so you can see how they are getting on.

In the meantime you can check out Strategy Betting Tips here.

elite-betting-syndicate

Elite Betting Syndicate – 8 Month Update

Back in May we completed a four month trial of a horse racing tipping service called the Elite Betting Syndicate and gave it a strong PASSED rating based on the 60 points profit it made during our trial.

Well here at Honest Betting Reviews we don’t like to just do a three month trial of a service and then forget about it – we like to continue monitoring results over the long run to see if they hold up.

So have the results of the Elite Betting Syndicate held up since our original review finished back in May?

We are pleased to say they certainly have, racking up yet more very impressive profits.

Here are the monthly totals since May:

May: +29 POINTS PROFIT

June: +30 POINTS PROFIT

July: +17 POINTS PROFIT

August (to date): +32 POINTS PROFIT

So that means since we started proofing the tips at the beginning of the year the service has made 170 points profit – fantastic stuff.

That would be £17,000 profit if you had bet to their recommended £100 stakes, or £4,250 profit if you bet to just £25 stakes.

Here is their profit graph since starting up – pretty much exactly what we like to see, just steady movement upwards!

And their staking is all to 1 point level stakes, with an average of just three bets per day – so a very manageable service to follow.

We have to say we really love this service and it is one of the few we follow with our own money.

It is proving to be one of the best horse racing tipsters we have ever come across.

They send tips out in the evening before racing and you need to get your bets on as soon as possible, preferably that same evening as prices tend to get hit in quite significantly by the next day.

Even at Betfair SP a good profit has still been made though, so there isn’t much not to like about this service.

And the good news is that you can get a 10 day trial of the Elite Betting Syndicate for just £1, which is a very fair offer.

first favourite logo

First Favourite – 12 Month Update

We have now been proofing the tips of horse racing tipster First Favourite for a full year so thought it would be a good time for an update.

Our original trial finished back in October last year and we gave it a neutral rating, which we maintained at our nine month update in January.

Just to recap, this is a low-volume service with just a small number of bets per month, but it targets high returns over the long run with this selective approach.

The long-term strike rate is high at over 50%, so as the name of the service suggests, it focuses on backing favourites that represent value.

So, how has First Favourite performed since January?

Overall it has done well, adding £1,230 profit this year to the recommended staking, which is to start off with a £1,000 bank each month, stake 10% on each selection and reset the bank at the end of each month, withdrawing any winnings.

In points terms, you could say that equates to an approximate 12 points of profit this year on top of the seven made at the time of our last update, making 19 points profit since October 2016.

This is a good effort and is worthy of a re-rating of the service in our view.

OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED

After a year of following the tips, we are pleased to upgrade First Favourite to a recommended rating here at Honest Betting Reviews.

As we have said before, this is very much a slow-burner service where you look to build a bank gradually over time.

The bet volume is low with just a few bets per week on average, so for those who like lots of bets all the time this is probably not for you.

However, for those with patience and an eye for long-term profit, First Favourite has demonstrated an edge over the market and an ability to deliver consistent profits.

On that basis we think it is worth adding to your portfolio and is a service we will continue to follow closely.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

First Favourite – Nine Month Update

8th January 2017

We completed a six month trial of horse racing tipster First Favourite back in October and gave it a neutral rating.

We agreed to continue monitoring the service to see if results picked up and to update our review periodically on how things were going.

So after nine months we thought it would be a good time for a quick update.

Well the good news is that it has been a very good three months for First Favourite since we completed our trial.

They have made a solid 7 points profit in that time to level stakes, bringing their total profits since we started proofing the tips to 3 points profit overall.

Using their compounding approach and taking the profits at the end of each month and resetting the bank, you would have made £837 profit over the last three months starting with a £1,000 bank.

There have been 15 bets over the last three months, with 11 of those winning, a very decent strike rate of 73%.

This is very much a service for the patient investor who is prepared to build their bank gradually over time. If you have that patience, then this could the service for you.

We are pleased to progress they have been making and if the current form continues then First Favourite should be well on its way to a passed rating.

First Favourite – Final Review

13th October 2016

We have reached the end of our six month trial of First Favourite and here are the final results:-

Profit/loss:    -4.45 points
Strike Rate:    52%
Bank Growth:    -0.3%
Cost:   £47+VAT
ROI:   -0.1%
Average number of bets:    2 per week
VERDICT:  NEUTRAL
Rating:

You can view full results here.

First Favourite – Full Review

We have given First Favourite – a horse racing tipster – a six month trial rather than the usual three months, as there are a very low number of bets, so we wanted to get a proper look at the service.

So after six months of tipping, how have they done?

Well, we are pretty much back where we started, at £4 down to £100 stakes at advised prices – so very close to break even.

Below is the profit graph for the trial:

First Favourite Profit Graph

As you can see, things were going quite well midway through the trial, but unfortunately dipped later on.

At Betfair SP things were a little worse, at -£339.

The results seen during our trial were quite a bit below those achieved prior to the trial. In 2015, there were apparently 12 winning months out of 12.

The good news is the workload is incredibly low here, with just 2 bets per week.

This kind of selective betting will not be to everyone’s taste – some people will want a larger number of bets to get their teeth stuck into rather than the “slowly, slowly, catchy monkey” approach taken here.

But certainly the results during the trial have not been bad and break even is deserving of a neutral rating in our view.

If results pick up over the coming months, then an upgrade in rating may be appropriate.

Until then, the jury’s out on First Favourite.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: Tips are sent out early in the morning of racing, so plenty of time to get the bets on. As we say, with an average of just 2 bets per week, the workrate is incredibly low here.

Availability of prices: Prices do tend to steam in somewhat by the off, so it is advisable to get your bets on as soon as possible after tips are sent out. However, we generally found prices were readily obtainable so you should be able to match the advised prices as long as you have a few bookie accounts still open.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 52%, which is a little below the long term strike rate of 55% and may explain the results being a little worse than normal as well.

Advised Betting Bank: No betting bank was advised, but we used a 1500 point bank when using 100 point stakes for each bet.

Subscription costs: Subscription costs are £47 + VAT per month.

OVERALL VERDICT: NEUTRAL

First Favourite is a horse racing tipster that takes a very selective approach to tipping, with just two bets per week on average.

After a six month trial, we have finished pretty much level from following their tips.

So we feel a neutral rating is the only reasonable verdict here for the time being. Hopefully results will pick up over coming months for them.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

First Favourite – Results Update

12th September 2016

It’s been a good month for First Favourite since our last update, with 137 points of profit added at advised prices.

That means they are now 229 points up overall for our trial at advised prices.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP they have added 43 points profit to sit at -104 points overall.

As we have said before, this is a slowly-slowly catchy-monkey service, with a low bet volume and a gradual approach to building a bank.

We have now been following the service for five months, so will be looking to wrap up the review next month.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

First Favourite – Results Update

14th August 2016

Unfortunately there has been a bit of a downturn for First Favourite since our last update.

Sadly they have dropped 395 points at advised prices, bringing them to 92 points up for the trial as a whole.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP it is a similar story, with 453 points lost since our last update to sit at -147 points for the trial overall.

It is a shame they have hit a sticky patch as it had a cracking run from mid-June to mid-July, but hopefully it is just a blip and normal service will be resumed shortly.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

First Favourite – Results Update

17th July 2016

First Favourite has been on a fantastic run of form since our last update, with eight of the ten bets over the last month winning.

That means they have added 476 points profit to stand at 487 points up for the trial as a whole.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP the results have also been good, with 364 points profit added over the last month to stand at 306 points profit for the trial overall.

We have also been monitoring the advised prices closely and can say that the prices are generally widely available and do not disappear within a short time as you see with some other services, which means you should be able to match the results at advised prices if you have bookie accounts.

The other thing worth noting is that the longest losing streak for First Favourite this year has been just two bets!

That is quite a remarkable statistic and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that before. Just shows the level of consistency and means this is a very easy service to follow – it doesn’t seem to have the rollercoaster experience you get with some other services.

So overall very impressed with First Favourite so far and let’s hope things continue in the same vein.

Back soon with more updates.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

First Favourite – Results Update

17th June 2016

First Favourite are still in profit for our trial -but only just.

When we did our last update a month ago, they were 165 points in profit at advised prices, where as now they are 11 points up, so a decline of 154 points since last time.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP, the total so far is 58 points down, so a little bit worse than the advised prices.

As we have said before, this is very much a selective service with a low number of bets per week, but the long-term record is strong and justifies such an approach.

Anyway, let’s hope things pick up a bit by the time of our next update.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

First Favourite – Results Update

19th May 2016

Well normally after a month of a trial we have lots to report but things have been quiet for First Favourite to say the least!

As we said at the outset, this is selective betting. But it has been very selective so far, with only 5 bets advised.

You can view full results here.

The good news is that the selective approach is paying off so far, with three of the five bets having been winners, with a profit of 165 points accrued to 100 point stakes.

You can see the effectiveness of the service, with 15 of the 16 months so far having been profitable. It is slow steady bank building, which is quite a nice way of doing things.

Anyway, we will update things in about a month’s time and see if things are still going strong.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

First Favourite – New Review

19th April 2016

We have just come across a horse racing tipster who we think has great potential and are quite excited to be trialing here at Honest Betting Reviews.

The tipster in question is called First Favourite and is run by a guy called Mel Gee.

There are two things in particular that interest us about this service.

First up is the high strike rate. We have written elsewhere about the importance of strike rate in betting systems, but in short the reason is that having a high strike rate means you can use larger stakes and build a bank much more quickly.

Plus losing streaks tend to be much shorter, thus making it easier psychologically to follow the service.

First Favourite claims to have a strike rate of 55%, which is a fantastically high strike rate to be able to achieve a profit at.

That means over half of bets have been winners! That’s what we like to see.

The second thing we like about this service is the level of consistency. Apparently in 2015 there were 12 winning months out of 12, which is remarkable going.

The three years previous to that were also profitable, although it doesn’t say to what level.

Now the only thing we would say is that this is a selective service, so if you’re looking for loads of bets every day then it might not be your thing.

But as we are always keen to stress, at the end of the day it is the amount of profit in your bank account that really counts rather than the number of bets and on the profit front First Favourite certainly seems to have delivered so far.

The good thing is there is a 60-day no-quibbles money back guarantee, so if it doesn’t turn out as hoped we can always get a refund.

So with much anticipation we will get the trial underway and let’s hope we can see some great profits accumulated over the next few months.

Back soon with our first update on how things are going.

In the meantime you can check out First Favourite here.

Top Form Racing – Update

It’s always a bad sign when a tipster service is discontinued before you have even get to the end of your trial.

Sadly that has been the case with Top Form Racing, which has been forced to close its doors after a poor run of results.

So we will obviously have to call it a day on our trial as well and put this one into the failed / defunct category.

Oh well, they can’t all be winning systems. Just a reminder of how hard it actually is to make a consistent long term profit in this game.

On to the next review then…

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Top Form Racing – Results Update

24th March 2017

It’s been a tough time for Top Form Racing, who have dropped 13 points at advised prices since our last update.

That means they are now 21 points down for the trial overall at advised prices.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP things are slightly worse, with 13 points lost since our last update and 25 points lost overall.

This a rare thing – a Betting Gods tipster that is losing. Normally they all win! Oh well, hopefully things will turn around soon for Top Form Racing…

Top Form Racing – Results Update

2nd March 2017

It’s been a little bit of a tough run for horse racing tipster Top Form Racing since our last update a couple of weeks ago.

They have lost 8 points in that time at advised prices, taking them to 9 points down for the trial overall.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP, things are pretty similar, with 10 points having been lost since our last update, putting them on -12 points for the trial to date.

Back soon with more updates…

Top Form Racing – Results Update

15th February 2017

It’s been a quiet start to our trial of horse racing tipster Top Form Racing

After three weeks they are one point down to advised prices.

You can view full results here.

At Betfair SP, things are very similar with 2 points lost so far.

Let’s hope we have some forward movement to report at the time of our next update.

Top Form Racing – New Review

26th January 2017

Long term followers of Honest Betting Reviews will know that we are big fans of the tipster platform Betting Gods, which has produced some of the very best tipsters we have come across.

Not least Quentin Franks Racing, our number one rated horse racing tipster, who has made close to 1,000 points profit over the last couple of years.

Or the Flat Racing Master, who made an astonishing 500 points profit last year.

There have plenty of other very good tipsters that are too numerous to mention in detail, but you can check them out here.

So when we come across another Betting Gods tipster, we are always excited to see how it will develop.

The latest one we are going to take a look at is Top Form Racing, a relative new kid on the block but one that shows some considerable promise.

Since starting tipping just about a full year ago, they have made around 100 points profit, at a very decent strike rate of 34%.

The return on investment figures are good as well, averaging 17% for the year, which is most commendable.

The workload looks pretty manageable too, with just 1-2 bets per day on average.

Staking is very sensible, with bets either 1 point or 0.5 points per selection, so we are not talking about a crazy staking system to inflate results like you see with some other tipsters.

All in all looks like pretty decent tipping and certainly worth taking a look at.

We will run our normal three month trial which should be plenty of time to get a good look at the service.

We will update results regularly here, so check back here any time to see how things are going.

In the meantime, you can see Top Form Racing for yourself here.

Flat Racing Master – One Year Update

UPDATE: Please note this tipster is no longer operating.

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Flat Racing Master – One Year Update

31st March 2017

Continuing our series of updating past reviews of tipsters and betting systems, today we are taking a look at the Flat Racing Master.

This is a horse racing tipster from the Betting Gods stable which does exactly what it says on the tin – bets on flat racing!

We originally did a review back in 2016, which ran from March until June.

During that review, the Master racked up a very impressive 50 points of profit at a return on investment of 10%.

We have now been proofing the tips for a full year, so an excellent time for an update.

Results Update

So how how has the Flat Racing Master done since our original review ended?

We are delighted to say that he has done extremely well!

Since our review finished, the Flat Racing Master has added a further 215 points profit.

That has meant the long term return on investment has moved up significantly to over 25%, which is an amazingly high level to achieve over an extended period of 15 months.

The strike rate is solid too at 26%, with the longest losing run at 20 bets.

Overall since starting up, the Flat Racing Master has made an average of £365 profit per month to £10 stakes.

The only negative to report is a bit of a drawdown at the start of this year, when around 50 points were lost.

That would be tough to take for members who signed up at the turn of the year, but on a more positive note, he has staged something of a recovery, regaining 20 of those points so far.

OVERALL VERDICT:

In a year of proofing his tips, the Flat Racing Master has made a very impressive 265 points of profit.

That would mean £2,650 profit at just £10 stakes or £6,625 at £25 stakes.

These are very impressive figures, which when added to the 25% return on investment put the Flat Master up there with the best in the business.

So we have no hesitation in maintaining our RECOMMENDED rating for the Flat Racing Master and upgrading the star rating from four to four and a half stars.

And the really good news is you can get a 15 day trial of the Flat Racing Master for just £1.99 here.

Flat Racing Master – Full Review

Flat Racing Master is, as you have probably worked out, a horse racing tipster who specialises in flat racing.

Coming into our trial they had amassed over 300 points profit, a very decent total over the space of just four months.

Well for once we are pleased to say that the pre-trial promise has been fulfilled during the trial itself, with another 50 points of profit added at advised prices and 58 points profit at Betfair SP.

As you can see from the profit graph below, after a little bit of a slow start, things got going nicely and continued steadily upwards until the end of the trial.

Flat Racing Profit Graph

Although it has only been around a short time (around 7 months), we are very impressed with the results of Flat Racing Master so far and happy to give it a recommended rating.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: It is a straightforward service to use, with around 2-3 bets per day and selections normally sent the evening before racing.

Availability of prices: Prices are generally obtainable, although they do move in by the time of racing, so you certainly want to get your bets on in the evening if you can. However, it is good to see that the Betfair SP results actually beat the advised prices (albeit with one big price at BSP that slightly skewed the results).

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 23%, which is fairly reasonable for a horse racing service and means there will be some losing runs, but hopefully nothing too extreme.

Advised Betting Bank: No betting bank was advised, but we used a 100 point bank for the trial given the long term strike rate of 27%.

Subscription costs: The subscription costs for a service of this quality are very reasonable at £1.99 for the first 15 days then £37 per month.

OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED

We have come to expect high standards from Betting Gods tipsters and the Flat Racing Master has certainly not disappointed.

A solid 50 points profit for the trial comes on top of over 300 points profit prior to the trial, which is impressive stuff in just over seven months of tipping.

It is refreshing to see that the Betfair SP results actually beat the advised price results, although it should be borne in mind that there was one big priced Betfair SP at over 40 that slightly pushed up results.

However, there is lots to like about the Flat Racing Master and we are happy to give this a recommend rating.

We will continue to monitor things and hopefully the results will carry on in the same fashion over the long term.

You can get a 15 day trial of the Flat Racing Master for just £1.99 by clicking here.

Flat Racing Master – Results Update

24th May 2016

The Flat Racing Master has made some positive progress since our last update, notching a nice 27 points profit over the last three weeks.

That means they are now 15 points in profit for the trial overall at advised prices and 2 points in profit at Betfair SP.

You can view full results here.

With the flat season getting going now and the form starting to be established, hopefully things can really take off for the Master and we will see a return to the form shown prior to our trial, when they amassed over 800 points profit.

Back soon with more updates.

Flat Racing Master – Results Update

29th April 2016

It has been a case of treading water for the Flat Racing Master since our last update a couple of weeks ago.

They are still 12 points down at advised prices, so no difference there, with a small improvement at Betfair SP of 4 points to stand at 13 points down.

You can view full results here.

To be fair, this time of year is notoriously difficult for horse racing betting as the season switches from the jumps to the flat, so once things settle down we should see an improvement from them hopefully.

Back soon with more update.

Flat Racing Master – Results Update

11th April 2016

It has been a little bit of a slow start to our trial of the Flat Racing Master, who is 12 points down so far to advised prices and 17 points down at Betfair SP.

You can view full results here.

It is still very early days though as we are only about three weeks into the trial, so far too early to make any judgments.

Hopefully things will pick up and we will start achieving the £800 profit per month that was being achieved prior to our trial.

Flat Racing Master – New Review

23rd March 2016

We have had a number of good results with Betting Gods tipsters to date.

Most notably with Master Racing Tipster, Value Racing Tips and Tom Nelson Racing, services that performed well during our reviews and have continued to rack up the profits after our reviews ended.

So we are pleased to be starting a new trial of what looks like another very promising Betting Gods tipster.

This one is called Flat Racing Master and so far has amassed an amazing £839 profit per month to just £10 stakes.

The strike rate is high at 31% which is reassuring and should mean we are not just talking about a tipster who has a couple of big priced winners to inflate the results.

The return on investment is also an astonishing 50% – although we would be surprised if that is maintained in the long run as it is very difficult to maintain such a high level.

With the flat season very shortly about to get under way, it seems like perfect timing to begin a trial of a flat specialist.

We will run our normal three month trial and see how the Flat Racing Master gets on.

Back soon with our first update.

In the meantime you can check out Flat Racing Master here.

Thomo’s Tips – 16 Month Update

Here at Honest Betting Reviews we don’t just do an initial review a tipster and then forget about them.

No, we like to keep an eye on how they perform over the long run and to see if our original verdict on the tipster is still justified.

So in that vein, we thought it would be a good time to do an update on a tipster we have been following for 16 months now – Thomo’s Tips.

This is a football tipping service that is provided by the Tipstrr platform.

The provider of the tips, Andy “Thomo” Thompson” bets in a range of markets, mainly in the Premiership and top European leagues.

In our original five month review, he made a profit of 24 points, at a return on investment of 21%, which we felt warranted a recommended rating and four and a half stars.

[Please note that our results are to 1 point equivalent staking for ease of reference. The advised staking is between 2 and 10 points, but the vast majority of bets are 10 point stakes.]

It is now been over a year since our original review, so how has Thomo done since then?

Results Update

Well, it hasn’t been quite as positive a story since then unfortunately.

Over the last 11 months, Thomo has added another 13 points of profit, which isn’t too bad.

However, that doesn’t tell the whole tale.

From the high point in June 2016 to January 2017, the service dropped over 32 points, more than wiping out our bank and virtually wiping out all the profits that had been made to that point.

Since January there has been a revival thankfully, with 36 points of profit made.

Those that signed up during 2016 though would have seen little return on their investment and once subscription costs are taken into account, it is questionable whether the 1 point per month average would be enough to have made a profit.

OVERALL VERDICT: NEUTRAL

A combination of the large losses in the second half of 2016 and the rather slow progress made overall have led us to downgrade Thomo’s Tips to a NEUTRAL rating for now.

Overall the service has made a profit, which should not be dismissed and it is nice and simple to follow.

One of the main qualities we look for in betting services though is their consistency and to have lost nearly all profits in late 2016 was tough to take for subscribers.

We will continue monitoring the service however and should its recent form continue, an upgrade back to a winning system may well be warranted.

Strike Rate:    42%
Bank Growth:    96%

Thomo’s Tips – Full Review

Well after having reviewed a dozen football tipsters and betting systems, we finally have one that has passed a trial here at Honest Betting Reviews.

Thomo’s Tips is a straightforward football tipster that is provided through the Tipstrr betting platform.

This trial has taken longer than normal as there are quite a low number of bets so we have made sure that we have seen well over 100 bets before making our judgement.

So after five months and 127 bets, we are pleased to say that Thomo has managed an impressive 24 points profit to 1 point stakes, or 2369 points to the original staking of 25 – 100 points per bet.

Here are the results for the trial in graph format:

Thomo's Tips Profit Graph

As you can see, a very steady profit graph showing good consistency over the trial.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: A super-easy service to follow, with around just 1 bet per day so minimal work involved.

Availability of prices: The tips are virtually all in the big leagues like the Premier League, Champions League and Europa League so there are no problems getting the bets on and matching the advised prices.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was 42%, which is very decent and means that losing streaks should be more than manageable here and staking can be at a reasonably high level.

Advised Betting Bank: There is no betting bank advised but we used a 25 point bank for the trial which should be fairly comfortable with a 42% strike rate.

Subscription costs: The subscription costs are very reasonable at £10/week, £19/month, £45/quarter, £79/6 months or £140 per year.

OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED

We are delighted to have finally found a football tipster that makes a profit after a large number of failed or neutral reviews.

Thomo’s Tips is super-easy to follow and with bets being in the big leagues, there are no worries about price availability.

A return on investment of over 20% achieved over the trial is very high for football and an impressive feat.

Our only small word of caution is that the service hasn’t been around very long (only five months) so it doesn’t have the long-term established record of some of the other recommended services here at Honest Betting Reviews.

But certainly if Thomo can maintain the results achieved so far in the long run then we may well have uncovered a real gem here.

It is one we will definitely be following ourselves and we will report back periodically on how it gets on.

Thomo’s Tips – Results Update

21st February 2016

The good form has continued for Thomo’s Tips, who have added a further 160 points profit since our last update just over a month ago.

That means they are now 1327 points up for the trial as a whole.

You can view full results here.

They tend to bet in 100 point stakes, with some of the longer-odds selections having a 25 point stake, so I suppose you could say they are 13.27 points up if you were using 1 point stakes for the 100 unit bets.

Either way, it is good to see a football tipster in profit for once, as virtually all of those we have reviewed so far have failed.

We are not quite at the minimum 100 bet level yet so we will continue the trial for a while longer.

Let’s hope things continue in the same fashion for Thomo’s Tips.

Thomo’s Tips – Results Update

15th January 2016

Wohoo! At last – we can report some positive results for a football service!

To date we have only ever passed one football tipster here at Honest Betting Reviews – Banker Bets – and that wasn’t even purely a football tipster but also covers tennis and occasional US Sports.

And whilst we are currently trialing nine football services, the news on the whole has not been good for those trials thus far.

So it is with much delight that we bring you news that Thomo’s Tips has brought in over 1,100 points profit since our last update to sit at +1166 points profit for the trial overall.

You can view full results here.

Thomo tends to tip at 100 point stakes with the occasional smaller stake, so really we are talking about approximately 11 points profit to 1 point level stakes.

The tips are mainly in the Premier League and Thomo has taken advantage of the poor form of sides like Man Utd and Chelsea whilst capitalising on the surge of the likes of Leicester.

Plus a nice treble at 15.69 did things no harm whatsoever.

So let’s hope things continue in the same vein and we can finally give a passed rating to a football-only tipster.

Thomo’s Tips – Results Update

12th December 2015

It’s been a quiet start to our trial of Thomo’s tips, which seems to be a common theme for the football tipsters we are trialing at the moment.

There have been some funny results around I suppose, with Chelsea playing so poorly, Man Utd off the boil and even City throwing in a few strange results.

So far Thomo is £30 down to advised stakes, or 0.3 points down if we were using 1 point stakes.

You can view full results here.

Things got off to a very strong start with 2 nice winners in the first 3 bets, with an international double of Belgium and Holland to win at 4.1 and then Hartlepool to beat Leyton Orient at 4.6

But unfortunately since then things have tailed off somewhat. It is still early days though, so plenty of time to get back on track and bank some nice profit.

We will return soon with more updates.

Thomo’s Tips – New Review

16th November 2015

After struggling for a while to find any football tipsters worth reviewing, we are now inundated with them. The latest in our line of promising football specialists is Thomo’s tips.

This is a relatively new tipster, having just got going in September of this year. However, the guy who runs the service Andy has been tipping for over 3 years, so has plenty of experience.

They tip mainly in the big European leagues and competitions like the Champions League and provide a variety of tips including singles, doubles and trebles as well as correct score predictions and HT/FT bets.

Staking seems to be a standard £100 per bet, which can be easily equated to 1 point level stakes.

Subscription costs are very reasonable with a £1 trial available for a week and then just £25 for 3 months membership.

We started receiving tips over the weekend so will record results from then.

Check back for updates on how the trial goes.

In the meantime you can view Thomo’s Tips here.

Pro Tennis Tips – Update

We regret to report that we have received an e-mail from John Baker who runs Pro Tennis Tips stating that he is discontinuing the service.

This is because he wants to concentrate on his other service, Banker Bets, which is going great guns.

We support the decision and it is honest of John to admit he won’t be able to put the time in necessary to make it a success. If only more tipsters were that honest!

Anyway, this is what John said in his e-mail:

After a great deal of thought and reflection while I was away I’ve come to the decision that I won’t be able to continue providing the Pro Tennis Tips service moving forward.

My football betting service Banker-Bets is performing very well but also keeping me extremely busy, and in all honestly I just don’t see myself being able to consistently devote the same amount of time and energy to a second service on a daily basis.

Tennis is a particularly difficult sport to follow to begin with as it requires frequent changes to your daily schedule as the tour moves around around the world through so many different time zones.

Unfortunately it’s just too difficult to balance out these constant changes in a way that I can consistently send out tennis selections early enough for subscribers around the world to comfortably place the bets, while also continuing to meet the many demands of my football service.

With that in mind, I have no intention or desire to offer a service to the public that has anything less than my full commitment, which is why Pro Tennis Tips will formally cease operations.

All that said, there will be some weeks during the year when I’ll be able to follow tennis quite closely and will certainly be placing some bets of my own, so I may be in touch from time to time just to let you know when I see particularly high value opportunities.”

So there we have it, this will go into the defunct pile and we too will concentrate on Banker Bets, which is doing really well.

Pro Tennis Tips – Results Update

26th November 2016

Pro Tennis Tips is taking a break from tipping until 2017. The results haven’t quite been as hoped and John who runs the service wants to take a bit of time to rethink the approach to picking selections.

That is understandable given that the tennis season is nearly over now for the year.

Looking at the results for the trial, since our last results update they have lost 5 points.

That means they are now 11 points down for the trial overall.

You can view full results here.

It certainly has been no disaster so far, but hopefully over the December break John can come up with some strategies for improving results in 2017.

Pro Tennis Tips – Results Update

2nd November 2016

A bit of a downturn this month for tennis tipster Pro Tennis Tips, with 6 points lost since our last update.

That means we are also 6 points down for the trial overall.

You can view full results here.

Let’s hope things push on from here and we have a really good month in November.

Back soon with more updates.

Pro Tennis Tips – Results Update

4th October 2016

It has been a quiet start to our trial of Pro Tennis Tips, who are 0.42 points up so far to 1 point level stakes.

You can view full results here.

The average odds so far have been 3.33, so we are talking about reasonable outsiders, which is what the service is about, rather than the odds-on shots that Banker Bets goes for.

Anyway, nothing to complain about so far – let’s hope for some good profits to report back on in our next update.

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Pro Tennis Tips – New Review

8th September 2016

We recently completed an 18-month update on the popular sports betting service Banker Bets, giving it a continued recommended verdict and a four-and-a-half star rating.

The service is run by a guy called John Baker who is a very honest and decent chap and has always been completely transparent about his results whilst we have been following Banker Bets.

And those results have been very good, with a doubled bank for 2016 and 250% total profit over the past 2 years.

Well now John is setting up a new service devoted just to tennis and given his record of success with Banker Bets, we are rather excited about its prospects.

The service is called Pro Tennis Tips and actually takes kind of the opposite approach to Banker Bets.

Where as the latter is focused on very short-odds favourites, with the average price around 1.28, this new tennis service will be based around finding longer-odds selections where a favourite has been mis-priced.

John says it’s all about finding good value odds by identifying favourites that may be ripe for an upset for a variety of reasons and the bookies have priced up too short.

He has started formal testing of this and though still in it’s infancy initial results are outstanding, with the service already 10 points up after just 9 bets.

Interestingly John ran a tennis tipping service for 2 years and despite turning a decent profit and having several positive reviews published the service didn’t generate much interest, so he shut it down at the end of 2014 to focus 100% on Banker Bets, which had proven to be far more popular.

But the new approach looks very interesting and with John’s thorough research and ability to spot value in a price, we do think this is worth following to see how it gets on.

For one thing, the tips are being provided completely FREE for the time being, so no harm in signing up and seeing how things go!

Let’s hope he can follow the success of Banker Bets with this new tennis service and produce a few aces along the way!

Banker Bets

Banker Bets – Eighteen Month Update

We have been following the popular sports betting service Banker Bets for 18 months now, a very good period over which to judge a service.

They initially received a strong recommended rating from us after our initial trial that ended in April 2015.

Then when we updated things in October 2015, they maintained that recommended rating, whilst having dropped down slightly from the heady heights of the original trial.

So now, a further 9 months on and after 18 months in total of receiving the tips, where do we stand with Banker Bets?

Updated Results

Well, we are pleased to say that things have continued in positive fashion for Banker Bets.

Here are the monthly results since our last update in October 2015:

Month   Profit/loss (points)
October 2015 (from 15th-31st)   25.6
November   -32
December   -55
January 2016   29.6
February   -39.7
March   31.9
April   58.1
May   29.7
June   3.7
July (to 23rd)   2.1
TOTAL   +54 points

So over 50 points profit since last October takes the total for Banker Bets to 126 points up overall after 18 months.

In 2016 the profits stand at 117% so far.

So if you had started with a bank of £1,000 at the beginning of the year and staked £100 per selection, your bank would now be worth £2,172.

How many high street banks would give you 117% interest over the space of just over six months!

Not many I would wager.

Taking results from 2014 before our review started (which obviously we can’t verify, but we have no reason to doubt as all the results we have received for 18 months have been fully accurate and John who runs the service has always been completely honest) the total profit stands at 268%.

So if you had started with a bank of £1,000 when the service began in August 2014, it would now be worth £3,680.

And if you had more funds to invest and had started with a bank of £5,000, it would now be worth £18,400.

That’s using level staking – if you had used 10% compounding no doubt the profits would have been considerably more.

Add to that the fact that they have managed an exceptionally high strike rate of 81% and you have a system that will deliver you a very high number of winners, with minimal losing streaks.

In fact, they haven’t had 2 losing bets in a row since April!

Conclusion

So overall after 18 months of following Banker Bets we are very happy to continue to give the service a recommended rating.

The key to a successful tipping service is standing the test of time and not just having a good run for a few months and then imploding, which so many services seem to do.

Banker Bets has been consistently profitable over a sustained period and has proved its worth over the long term, amassing 126% profit over the period we have been following it.

Add to that an exceptional strike rate of over 81% and the fact that you can often beat the advised odds by using the exchanges and you have a highly impressive package overall.

All that at a very reasonable cost of just £6.75 for the first month then £27/month, £54/quarter or £155 per year .

Definitely worth signing up to and seeing your bank grow steadily over time.

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Banker Bets – Nine Month Update

14th October 2015

We now have nine months of results for Banker Bets so we thought a good time for an update on how they have been getting on since our trial ended in April.

Here are their monthly results totals from 6th April (when our trial concluded) onward:

Month Profit/loss (points)
April (6th onward)   +21.5
May -47.6
June +31.6
July +50.2
August -63.5
September -18.2
October (to 14th) +2.6
TOTAL -23.4 points

So things have been disappointing since the trial ended to be fair with a loss of 23 points incurred.

That comes after they made 95 points profit during our trial, so in total after 9 months they are 72 points up.

Using the advised bank, that equates to 72% bank growth in nine months.

Whilst that it is still a good total for a service that tips at very low odds and manages a strike rate of over 80%, it is probably a bit too low for the service to continue warranting a 5 star rating.

To compare it to our top rated service, Master Racing Tipster, that one has managed 350% bank growth in just over six months.

And certainly for any members who have joined since our trial ended, a loss over a six month period will have been disappointing.

However, we believe you need to take a long-term approach to betting and in fairness they have made a good profit over the nine months, which is impressive in sports like football and tennis where winning tipsters are as scarce as hen’s teeth.

Equally, their published results prior to our trial show good profits as well. Now although we can’t verify those results as we weren’t subscribed to the service at that time, we have no reason to doubt them as the results match exactly the selections given out in the emails since we have been members.

Conclusion

Things have been a little disappointing for Banker Bets since our trial ended and they have failed to reach the heights achieved during that period.

So we believe a downgrade from our previous 5 star rating is warranted. Only services that show continuous or close-to-continuous bank growth should merit a 5 star rating in our view.

But at the same time, they are still in profit for the nine months we have been following them, having grown the bank over 70% in that time, which is good when tipping at odds-on and in notoriously difficult sports markets.

So overall we think they still deserve a passed rating but a downgrade to 4 stars.

OVERALL RATING: PASSED

Banker Bets Final Review

It’s been an excellent trial for Banker Bets and it’s great to see a service living up to its previous results.

This is a service that primarily provides win bets on football and tennis, with the occasional bet on American football.

Things started off great guns in January with an amazing run of 21 straight wins followed by 17 straight wins in early February.

Matters took a bit of a turn for the worse in mid February with a bizarre run of results, including Nadal losing his first clay court semi-final in donkeys years, Chelsea failing to beat Burnley at home and Juventus unable to overcome lowly Cesena.

Since then things have very much got back on track though with a good run of 12 straight wins to finish the trial.

So we concluded with the bank very nearly doubling in 3 months, which is really fantastic stuff.

Here is a graph of the results during the trial:

graph

As you can see, a nice trend upwards then the difficult period in February, followed by a good run at the end to just about double the bank overall.

Service Breakdown

Ease of use: Very good – bets are given out early in the morning (UK time) and can be placed at the bookmakers or Betfair. Bets take just a couple of minutes a day to place.

Availability of prices: Good. Overall I was able to match the advised prices using just Betfair. Sometimes I beat the advised price and sometimes it was worse, but overall things evened themselves out.

Strike rate: The strike rate for the trial was very high at 84% and with a long term strike rate of 85% losing runs should be short.

Advised Betting Bank: A 10 point betting bank is advised, or a compounding approach where you stake 10% of your current bank on each bet. With an 85% long-term strike rate this should be sufficient, although to be ultra safe you might want to try a 15 point bank.

Subscription costs: The subscription costs are very reasonable at £6.75 for the first month and then £27 per month, £54 per quarter or £155 per year.

OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED

I really like services that can deliver a high strike rate and this is one that certainly does that, with an 84% strike rate achieved during out trial. It really does lower the stress levels when the vast majority of your bets are winning. 🙂

However, the most important thing of course is the overall profit/loss level. Well Banker Bets has delivered in spades on that front as well.

It’s good that you get a clear reasoning behind the selections and you can see that John who runs the service really does his homework before he sends out each bet.

There does appear to be clear value in these types of bets and as we have seen during our trial, there is great potential to build a bank.

If we can repeat these results and double the bank every 3 months, I may be able to start contemplating retirement in a few years’ time! 🙂

Let’s hope so anyway, but in the meantime this one definitely goes on to the passed systems list and I can thoroughly recommend giving Banker Bets a go if you want to make some consistent profits.

The Brit Method – Avoid this Scam

One of the reasons I started this site – along with trying to find winning betting and trading systems – was to expose the various scam artists out there.

Well I have just come across one and this deserves full exposure here on the site.

You may have recently been contacted or heard about the Brit Method from a guy called Jason Taylor.

The system promises to make you hundreds of thousands of pounds per month at no cost.

Now if after hearing that you are not already sceptical, let me sound the alarm bell for you: do not sign up for this – it is a scam.

If it sounds too good to be true…

First up, any system that promises to turn you into a overnight millionaire is highly likely to be talking utter nonsense.

If they could really do that, you have to ask why on earth they would bother with taking the time to set up this website, make the videos, spend money on marketing and push you so hard to take up the service.

Surely they would be off in the Caribbean in their massive yacht soaking up the sun with a cocktail in their hand!

That old phrase – “If it sounds too good to be true…it normally is” makes a lot of sense.

The other point is, do you not think that if someone had made an automated system to turn people into instant millionaires, you would have heard about it?

It would be all over the news and the internet and would, in all honesty, pose a bit of headache to our economies if anyone could become an instant millionaire just by clicking on the website. We would probably have hyper-inflation or some other financial meltdown.

Haven’t I seen this before somewhere…

Anyway, leaving aside the completely implausible sales claims, let’s examine the website more closely.

The first and most worrying sign is that this is just a rehash of an almost identical system that did the rounds recently called the Aussie Method.

It had the same picture of the young guy at the top, except his name was Jake Pertu.

And before that it was the Canuck Method, and the guy was called Jake Mason! But the same picture each time. That picture is in fact just a stock image you can get from any image site. Just drag the image into google and see what you get.

Low and behold, it’s not just Jason Taylor from the Brit Method, he also appears for the “Lucky Rich Kid Method,” “Top 10 grocery shopping mistakes,” “Kelly Clarkson’s unborn child” and a whole other load of unrelated stuff.

When a testimonial is obviously not a testimonial…

Then if you move on to the supposed “testimonials,” these are all in fact just from paid actors from the website fiverr.com

If you have a look on fiverr you will see those very same people. Unbelievable.

And weirdly even though they are supposedly millionaires, you can see very cheap looking backgrounds in their videos – not the pads of the supposed super-rich.

On the introductory video there is even an inadvertent slip when “Jason Taylor” (I have to use inverted commas for him now) says one of the bank balances has 7 million quid – when in fact it has 7 thousand.

Who cares though when you can be as rich as him in a matter of just weeks!

What’s even more annoying though is that you can’t stop the video on the homepage and shut the idiot up.

The System – or lack thereof

On to the system itself.

Basically it’s binary options trading software that promises to make you instantly rich with just a few clicks of the mouse.

There have been a whole host of binary options scams like this recently. I don’t know what it is about binary options that makes them so attractive to scam artists.

Maybe it’s because they are relatively new on the scene and little understood, so ripe for drawing people in to scams.

Basically the system authors will get a big cut of any deposits you make with binary companies – and to make the system function you will have to make a fair few.

There is no way in the world you are going to make hundreds of thousands of pounds per week – more likely you will lose a large amount of money.

And as for the promise to give you £10,000 if you don’t make hundreds of thousands, good luck with that…

This is utter garbage and people peddling this kind of rubbish should be locked up. Problem is they are probably out in Nigeria or somewhere.

Oh well, just avoid it anyway and the less people that take up these things, the sooner we will all be rid of them.

If you do want to make some extra cash from a genuine money-making opportunity, then we can recommend Profit Maximiser. With it you can make around £500 per month risk-free and even more if you put the time in. Highly recommended.

Q Racing – Results Update

Please note this service has been discontinued.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

Not much change for Q Racing, who have dropped 3 points since our last update about three weeks ago.

That means they are now 34 points down overall.

You can view full results here.

Things were starting to look up with 16 points gained from backing Journey at Newmarket on 25th September, but sadly that has all been given back since then.

As we stated below, staking is quite high with 4 or 5 point bets often given out, so 34 points down is not quite as bad as it sounds.

Still, let’s hope things pick up by the time of our next update.

Q Racing – Results Update

25th September 2015

It’s been a tough start to our trial of Q Racing, who after a month are 31 points down.

You can view full results here.

That is perhaps not as bad as it sounds however, as they stake on average 4 points per bet, so it is the equivalent of being about 8 points down if they were betting to one point level stakes.

It is still early days both in terms of our trial and this tipster in general, as they only went live in April.

It is a good example though of waiting until there are enough proofed results to draw a clear conclusion on a tipster before jumping on board.

Anyway, hopefully things will have picked up by the time of our next update and we will have more positive news to report.

Q Racing – New Review

27th August 2015

Today we are starting a new trial of the interestingly named Q Racing from the Betting Gods stable.

In case you are wondering, the Q stands for Quality. I was thinking for a minute it might have something to do with James Bond, but alas no.

Anyway, this is a service that has been proofing to the Betting Gods stable for 4 months now and they claim results of:

Total Profit Since May 2015 = £693.00 with £10 Stakes

Average Strike Rate = 39.76%

Average Return on Capital = 22.35%

Average Monthly Profit = £173.25 with £10 Stakes

Stakes per Bet = 1 to 5pt Stakes at Betfair SP

It is good to see that all results are recorded at Betfair SP, which means you know you can match the advertised results and in reality should actually beat them with a little bit of work.

We will be running our usual three month trial of this one and it will be interesting to see if it can match the excellent results claimed so far.

Let’s hope they can match the feats achieved by Master Racing Tipster and Big Race Bookie Busters during our trial!

Back soon with our first update on how things are going.

In the meantime you can check out Q Racing here.
